This is the shocking moment two Georgian politicians had a fist fight on live television. Union of Industrialists candidate Zaza Agladze clashed with opponent Irakli Glonti from State For The People bloc ahead of the country’s parliamentary elections on October 8. Female news anchor, Maka Razmadze, was left panicked after Agladze, wearing a black suit jacket, poured a glass of water over Glonti during the broadcast this week.

What is sad is that as a native of Georgia I could actually see this happening in the Peach State.

Although it is in my current home of Alabama that we have had numerous brawls start on the Legislature and Senate floors.

Sarcasm, right? Are Agladze and Glonti common last names in Atlanta?

Anyway, politics is a far more energetic sport in many countries. India also has real entertainment on the floor of Parliament now and then (sometimes literally).

Sadly it was the country of Georgia, not the state of GA. Perosnally, I think fist fights between the candidates should be a required part of any election.

Very. You cannot throw a dead cat without hitting someone named Dzuhashvilli, or Demyanenko, or Gruzinsky.

So can I. I imagine something more along the lines of Deal sending thugs of both parties to ambush Sen. Josh McKoon.

I think that the Dems are right - we here in America shouldn’t be so arrogant, we CAN learn a lot from foreign countries and how they handle problems.

So let’s make the last debate a cage match between Clinton and Trump. Heck, let’s make it PPV, and use the money to pay down the national debt - it’ll turn a hefty profit, because it can’t cost much to have a few gallons of water, some chairs and tables, brass knuckles and a couple of knives in there (all American-made, of course).

Was Alvin Holmes involved in any of those?
