A U.S. citizen child was kidnapped in Mexico by drug cartel members who demanded ransom, then dropped him off unharmed at a shopping mall, reports Breitbart News. The kidnapping of the 7-year-old sparked a joint U.S.-Mexico investigation and a scramble to find the child, the news outlet reports. Investigators believe the kidnapping, which lasted about six hours, may be related to a struggle between cartels. Police learned that the boy's mother and stepfather had been involved in organized crime and the drug business. The mother, Patricia Rentería Martínez, served three years in prison for organized crime activity, according to Breitbart.

Who gives a “rat’s ass?” It’s the criminal’s way of life.
This story reads like a Mexican Novella with the three adults (stepfather, father, and mother) all being Cartel members with criminal pasts.
It’s just a bit much for me to get worked up because the news media plays up the “US Citizen” child aspect. I’d like to read the background of how that child became a citizen.
From what I read in the article, the child would be better off with CPS that any of the parents.

The Department of Children and Families in the US is all powerful because parents of seized children don’t usually kill thirty of forty people to get them back. These parents might do just that. So, the person with the child is holding the hot potato. The first thing he does is throw it into the air and run. That is what happened here.
The writer pulled in off the street and told to write this for the cartel boss absolutely gives one... Poor ol’ “N/A”, alas we knew him well, not at all....

When do we get to the part where all these kids come over to our schools and use our welfare, medical and EBT so Mexico has US PAYING FOR THEIR KIDS?
We try to get them to pay for a wall while they make us pay for the 20% of Mexican citizens living on us who don’t assimilate and send all monies back to the Fatherland.
