The White House said Monday that Americans are safer under President Obama, despite FBI crime statistics showing that violent crime rose about 4 percent last year.

“The numbers indicate that since President Obama took office, the violent crime rate has fallen 15 percent,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest, who said crime rates are still “near historic lows.”

Unfortunately or fortunately for Obama, the damage that he has done and will do as a lame duck will take a couple of years to come to fruition.

For example, all of those untraceable Syrian immigrants soon to be terrorists won't be able to set up shop over night. It will take them at least a year to establish themselves. Of course, that assumes that there aren't already terrorists here in the United States because of the lax immigration laws.
