BLM office in Junction to see change ( Colorado UN Agenda 21 )

Grand Junction will no longer be home to a district Bureau of Land Management office after the agency’s Grand Junction Field Office gets transferred from the northwest Colorado district to the southwest district under a reorganization.

...

Mesa County Commissioner John Justman is uncomfortable with the Grand Junction Field Office no longer being part of the Northwest District, despite Mesa County’s close economic ties to the oil and gas development that takes place in northwest Colorado. Many area oil and gas jobs are based in Mesa County.

“Financially the county is much more attached to the Northwest District than the Southwest,” where oil and gas operations are more tied to La Plata County, Justman said.

The change will mean Justman no longer will provide a voice for Mesa County as a member of the BLM’s Resource Advisory Council for the Northwest District

...

The change will move the Gunnison Field Office to the Front Range District, also home to the San Luis Valley and Royal Gorge field offices.

...

The district changes take effect in October and will result in the Silt office eventually being headquarters for the Northwest District, and Montrose being home to the Southwest District office.

...

Justman said the BLM “got an earful” about the changes from county officials at a Colorado Counties Inc. meeting in Montrose, including from San Juan County, which questioned having BLM lands there being included in the Front Range District.

My acronym log is getting entirely too bolloxed! LA is either Los Angeles or Louisiana, PA is either Pennsylvania or Palestinian Authority (No Palestine and no authority). BLM is now in that same boat. Just call the new ones BAALE, Black Anarchist Against Law Enforcement!

As for the actual article, needs of the government (bureaucrats) always outweigh the needs of the governed!

Nucla Station is scheduled for another seasonal shutdown in a matter of days and is expected to operate just 120 days this year and Our Dear Leaders are trying to shut down the Craig area power plants & low cost coal mines = killing more good paying jobs ... “If somebody wants to build a coal-fired power plant, they can. It’s just that it’ll bankrupt them.”

Kmart in Craig set to close Dec. 11.. among the closure of 60 stores.
