Also, I have noticed several times when her ears were covered that she spoke in a halting manner, like she was repeating what she was being told. If this predominates her performance, she will come across as stiff and strange. It may get her through the debate, but it is not attractive or winning.
If he does this, Trump should look at the audience and say, “did you know that Lester is running for president tonight?”; and on the following question, pause and give Lester (Hillary’s media representative) a chance to “give the American people his vital opinion” on Hillary’s response before Trump answers.
I’ll take the bait. I think Lester Holt is a decent man from what I’ve read about him, and I am willing to give him a chance tonight. After watching him on the Westminster Dog shows and occasionally checking in on his news presentation, I wasn’t aware he is black, although once it was mentioned it was obvious. He is just a regular guy. We will see tonight!
I hope and pray that he keeps his temper in check but rebukes Lester with a smile and a prepared witty line! Reagan did it perfectly!! THERE YOU GO AGAIN!! I’ll never forget those words EVER! I still remember how he creamed the peanut boy!!...with a smile and a killer line!!
I think Trump would merely turn the camera and say....”now you know why no one watches network news anymore”, and just shake his head. The show is over at that point and they can fold the circus tent up for Hillary.
If Holt does this (and I wouldn’t be one bit surprised)...maybe Trump could ask him “Should I start calling you Candy now?” then grin an all-knowing grin.
That would be entertainment.
CNN was droning on and on about how it’s the moderator’s duty to fact check the candidates, and then they said (with all seriousness) that Trump has a more tenuous relationship with the truth.
CNN post debate will fact check everything Trump says using biased Politifact and then talk about how Clinton is so much more honest than him.
I agree. Trump could pull it off.
This debate will be on every channel, cable or otherwise. I’ve never seen anything like it. That’s why they’re ALL expecting 100,0000,000 viewers. You can’t get away from it even if you wanted to.
