Sanders to join Clinton in N.H. for joint pitch of a college plan aimed at millennials

Sen. Bernie Sanders plans to join Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton this week at an event in New Hampshire where they will pitch a joint plan to make college more affordable -- part of a continuing effort to sell the party’s ticket to wary millennials.

Sanders, the runner-up in the Democratic primaries, consistently outperformed Clinton among young voters. As he prepared to exit the race in July, he worked with Clinton to incorporate parts of his college plan into hers.

The result is a proposal to make public colleges and universities tuition-free for families with income up to $125,000 a year and to make the college years debt-free for everyone.

Free college for everyone! So the new 13-16 grade will be paid by the government. Which mean anyone actually working will be paying for the state colleges. Oh and its will force private colleges out of business.

And maybe a nice severance package if you drop out, too.

Bernie was nothing more than a political place holder—he is part of the establishment—just more open about his radial leftist leanings than most.

I think he was put into the race in the first place to make Hillary look more centrist by comparison. He ended up stealing the show from Hillary. Hilarious in a way when you think about it. Terribly frightening in another.

This is Clinton’s ace in the hole if millenials trust her. Some will. Some won’t.

IMO, private colleges will still exist for me but not for thee. Can’t have the snowflakes associating with mere mortals.

Perhaps Sanders should have waited until after Monday night’s debate before he announced Illary’s plans for the rest of the week.

Folks with incomes well above the theoretical cut off level will just set their kid up in an apartment, say the kid is on their own, and take advantage of the free tuition at colleges and universities that aren't ever going to admit any of the "white trash" anyway unless said whitey passes the test of being a soul less, greedy, piece of crap, willing to do anything to get ahead in politics.

You know, someone from Canada or Arkansas who fits the profile of a genuine political whore.

When things are going bad...roll out the free shit.

So now we will not just nationalize health care, thus ruining it for everyone, we will nationalize college, thus ruining that too.
