Then he should consider it nothing more than a case of returning money he didn’t really earn.
Or maybe I didn't.
What some guy does on his personal e mail or blog is his business. What someone does on the field is the team’s business. In that regard, this suspension is out of bounds, period.
Is it even a “suspension” if the guy has only played 22 games this year anyway?
never realized major leaguers got paid by the game; thanks for opening my eyes...
Corruption, licentiousness, alcohol & drugs, irresponsible sex, infanticide, child abuse. I was going to say we hit the trifecta, but then I kept thinking of more and more.
The wrath of the awakened Saxon.
Clevenger expressing his opinion on his own dime
Kaepernick was doing his thing in the workplace
What a triple standard
rovenstinez,
I find it interesting that you would use that phrase, Rio Linda. (I’ve been there by the way)
The person who uses it regularly is Rush Limbaugh and the interesting part is that he was hired by ABC to do an editorial on the ESPN NFL pregame show and he lasted one week. He resigned because because he pointed out that the NFL’s love affair with Donovan McNabb and that he was over rated and the NFL was using him as a racial object and some of the crew, basically Tom Jackson, didn’t like it.
But because all of the Sea Hawks joined in a shaming anthem protest, and Cleavenger told the truth with his freedom of speech. he was punished.
So, now I don’t support any of the Mariner’s products or games, I don’t support any of the Sea Hawks games or products. And because the owner of the Hawks is Paul Allen, and he owns the Portland Trailblazers, I don’t support them or their products either. I hope others follow.
You don’t get respect by disrespecting those that earned it by bravely giving the ultimate price for this country. Such real brave millionaires playing a game as pampered athletes. You sure deserve respect. don’t you?

If anyone didn’t already know, these incidents show that professional sports are just the elite’s bread and circuses to pacify the masses. There is no better time to cut the cord on ESPN, turn off Monday Night Football, and boycott the World Series. Continuing to watch this cr-p is just pushing what’s left of free society over the brink.
This is the year to say, “No more!” and try to save the country.

Sue them until they drop.
Clear case of Outright Discrimination, IMO.
Boycott major league professional sports.
BTW, businesses affected by the BLM BS ought to be sueing them too...”””
The 49er’s have a brand new, large, EXPENSIVE stadium to pay for. How much are their revenues being hit with Kaepernick’s actions? Even in Liberal San Francisco, many fans come from more conservative parts of Calif.
I have suspended both the NFL and MLB from my viewing on TV. MLB is on probation, but the NFL is suspended for good. It’s freed up my Sunday afternoons.
I used to watch the NFL on TV as a way to escape from, if only for a few hours each week, political commentary or being lectured at one way or another about political or social issues. The disrespecting the National Anthem was the final straw. I haven’t watched a single second of NFL this fall. Don’t plan to watch any, either.
Imagine what would happen to these “totally critical” organizations if the awful, privileged, racist white folks stopped giving them their mountains of money each year.
People always say what the hell can we do?
This is about the easiest darn thing in the world to do.
Don’t give them any of your money. IF you have to watch, watch your tv. Drop the tickets. Don’t buy merchandise. If you want, send them an email or text that you are done with them.
LEt these people have their free speech. You have yours. They need to be the big boys and girls they are pretending to be, and deal with the consequences of their free speech and political correctness.
You are going to get so much more done. Lots of time better spent.
First of all, they're not fascists. They're communists. Fascism arose in response to communism, and the way things are going, it may happen again.
Second of all, they DO NOT have a double standard! If it furthers the revolution and tears down America, it's good. If it retards the revolution and strengthens America, it's bad. That's one single, clear, bright-line standard, to which they always adhere, no matter what.
