Whitey’s centuries old biblical laws are clearly racis’ . The ‘hood needs their own laws, much like the muzzies get with Sharia.

Thanks - I saw it after I posted.

I feel sorry for her - she looks like a decent gal.

Honestly, I don’t think law enforcement is for women. My son’s girlfriend wants to become a policewoman. I don’t like it....but nobody listens to someone as not with it as me lol.

I think the worst was the New York draft riots during the War Between the States.

Had a cop-in-law who quit the force a few months after the first female cops were put on the streets. He said that female cops would act like they were men and then the male 250 pound suspect would use them as one would swing a baseball bat. Then a big male cop would still have to show up but the female cop wold be beaten up and then they would also have the female cops gun.
He was 6’3 and he was huge and muscular. He was a patrolman and for that he was on the small side, I knew other cops he was buddy’s with and were all 6 foot 160 to 6’9 250+ on up. He never had to pull his gun as nightsticks and blackjacks were used often and it was before even pepper spray.

There's a huge difference between a person who is uncooperative and one who is a threat.

True, but there are certain actions that an uncooperative person can take that make him appear to be a threat. In such cases of ambiguity, it is vital that the police assume that it is a threat. Vital. And justified.

For the uncooperative person, it is a risk they take the moment they decide to be uncooperative, because officers have to make split-second life and death decisions with little information. The stupidity of being uncooperative with the police should be the dominant news story here. But it won't be.

On the surface it does not look good for her but it is certainly not “open and shut.”

God made men and women different for a Godly purpose and reason.

WHY do the created always want to second guess the Creator ?

Well, she obviously thought he was trying to get something ON TOP OF NOT FREEZING WHEN ORDERED TO NOT TO MOVE.

Blacks disobeying orders by cops is the CAUSE of the problem.

I don’t think it will matter, even if they throw the book at her. A lot of people will want to riot anyway.

In 1974 I was working in Tulsa for Social Security.

A Black man was applying for Social Security and it turned out he was there as a child when it happened. He said he and his family had come to Tulsa from Muskogee that day.

His description was much worse than history says. Who knows the truth.

But in this particular case, two different officers reacted in two different ways. If she reacted correctly, then it would stand to reason that her partner should be disciplined for his failure to react accordingly.

1st degree? You mean it was planned?

No. that's not what first degree means in Oklahoma.

Murder requires malice or special circumstances, like someone getting killed in the commission of a felony. Failing that you have something less.

Manslaughter in the First

Liability of Physicians

A physician can commit first-degree manslaughter by, while being intoxicated and without a plan to kill his patient, administering any poison, drug, or medicine, or doing any other act in his capacity as a physician that causes his patient to die.

Killing an Unborn Child

It is first-degree manslaughter to administer, prescribe, or advise a pregnant woman to take any medicine, drug, or substance, or uses or employ an instrument with the intent to destroy the child, unless the same action was necessary to preserve the life of the mother.

Penalties

Felony. Punishable by imprisonment for at least four years.

I would say that it was "unnecessary". As in: "A homicide committed unnecessarily either while resisting an attempt by the deceased to commit a crime, or after such an attempt failed"

I would say she was "resisting" an attempt of the deceased to commit a crime, possibly evading arrest, or failing to follow the instructions of a police officer.

Too much force was used given the level of threat, which predictably resulted in homicide.

Could have been Second Degree:

Code Section Oklahoma Code section 21-716: Manslaughter in the Second Degree What's Prohibited? Second-degree manslaughter occurs when a human is killed by an offender's act, procurement, or culpable negligence if the killing doesn't qualify as murder, first-degree manslaughter, or justifiable homicide.

Owner of Animal that Kills a Person

If a person knows that his animal has a propensity for violence and willfully allows the animal to go at large, or keeps it without ordinary care, then when the animal kills a victim (who took all of the precautions which the circumstances permitted in order to avoid the animal), the animal's owner is guilty of second-degree manslaughter.

Between those two the First does seem to fit better.

She had back-up. Why did she feel compelled to kill the guy? Why did she follow him?

“Actually, I feel a little sorry for her - I suspect she got scared and adrenaline took over.”

I feel sorry for her, too - people told her she was big and bad enough to be a cop.
