Top Military Officer: Bad Idea to Share Syria Intelligence With Russians

Gen. Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Thursday that it would be a bad idea to share intelligence with Russia on the conflict in Syria.

“The U.S. military role will not include intelligence sharing with the Russians,” Dunford told lawmakers on the Senate Armed Services Committee at a hearing on U.S. national security challenges and ongoing military operations. “I do not believe it would be a good idea to share intelligence with the Russians.”

The comments by the highest-ranking military officer Thursday morning are out of step with the Obama administration’s latest efforts to solve the years-long civil war in Syria, which involve cooperating with Moscow given the success of a cessation of hostilities.

The Obama administration’s agreement with Russia, announced on Sept. 9 by Secretary of State John Kerry and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, would involve the United States and Russia working together to develop military strikes against Nusrah, the al Qaeda affiliate in Syria, and the Islamic State given a sustained period of reduced violence. The United States and Russia also agreed to share information to establish a “Joint Implementation Center” to cooperate in targeting terror groups.

Sharing intelligence with the Russians is stupid. They can back trace certain information they have as well, and discover things they shouldn’t know from our intelligence. They can pin point sources, and use some information to locate interests that might not want their scrutiny.

Much more. Not a good idea at all.

That’s because Dunford the idiot is fully on board with removing Assad as our overriding goal. So we can’t share intel with people who are defending Assad.

Dunford the idiot also thinks trannys and homos and women are fine for the USMC infantry.

Like its a better idea to force your way into a hot war to which you are UNINVITED and have only bad guys and worse guys to support

Then play “hide the SOF and “Top Gun” with Ivan as if you have some kind of moral mission

We are pulling some f***** up sh** in Syria right now, with CIA forces and SF forces getting tangled up. That “mistaken” hit on the Syrian Army was really suspicious, and I’d like to know the real story behind the aid convoy attack. I don’t trust Dunford worth a damn. He’s an administration stooge and the charge that we are helping ISIS may not be altogether wrong. We are laying in a bed full of fleas.

“I do not believe it would be a good idea to share intelligence with the Russians.”

Next answer...

No Congressmen we don’t foresee Syria tipping over or capsizing, the Kurds are healthy eaters we’re told.

Red Cross has decided they won’t tell Russia where their hospitals are as instead of avoiding them in their airstrikes they tend to strike hospitals on purpose.
