There seems to be a bunch of genius thought going on around here. Actually not an uncommon thing to happen, that is why new vessels go through “trials”. This is a very important step in shipbuilding, intended to reduce the radar signature.

Actually not an uncommon thing to happen, that is why new vessels go through “trials”. Well Yeah, but if Mabus hadn't had the PR brainwave of assigning Captain Kirk to the new Supership, and given it to someone else, no one would be seeing the funny now.
