A month-old Trump campaign office in Ukiah has been vandalized three times since Saturday, according to police and the campaign headquarter’s managers.
A splash of red paint remains on the front of the North State Street building from sometime between late Monday night and early Tuesday morning. The night before, someone spray painted the sidewalk with the word “bigot,” said Ukiah Police Sgt. Chris Long.
The first incident Saturday caused no serious damage and was done openly, said Wayne McBride, a retired police officer who launched the office — which is independent of the larger Trump campaign — a month ago. A young woman knelt on the sidewalk and wrote “#nevertrump” in chalk. The Democratic Party headquarters earlier this month also was vandalized in chalk, police said.
McBride said it’s disconcerting and disappointing, but won’t stop his efforts to get out the message and give Trump supporters an outlet.
“It’s clearly not going to stop me,” said McBride, who’s also had the Trump campaign signs on his home’s front lawn destroyed.
When volunteers wave Trump signs on the sidewalk in front of the campaign office, most people who respond do so in a favorable way, McBride said.
Nearly half of Mendocino County’s 49,334 registered voters — 49 percent — are Democrats, followed by 23 percent “no party preference” and 21 percent Republican, according to the elections office. Others belong to the Green, American Independent, and Peace and Freedom parties.

I live in the redest county in WV and I have seen NO bumperstickers for either candidate and the ONLY yard sign I’ve seen says “Vote Libertarian”

The first time you get caught by surprise and have your office vandalized is understandable. The second time you should have been on the look out. The third time you are totally inept.
The top office in S.F. was ransacked and the DA wouldn’t press charges. Several years ago.
