We’re in the same room now.

Are you planning on supporting and voting for Trump, the GOP nominee?

Dodging the question, just like your boy.
Is this where things get ugly?

Don’t care, and don’t even want that lying worm’s endorsement at this point.

It doesn't matter what any off us think of that lying worm. If the lying worm's endorsement can improve Trump's chances of winning, then we should welcome that endorsement.

“Some people around here, apparently, prefer to drive away a good percentage of former Cruz supporters (which number in the millions) and lose to Hillary...”

I’m a former Cruz supporter, but I wised up to who and what he is, early in the campaign. I’m not offended in the least by any vitriol I see directed towards him. He earned every bit of it.

I’m also not sympathetic to people who still remain so enamored of him that they fail to see how much damage he’s inflicted upon the party, at a time when we can least afford dissension in the ranks.

Ted should have conceded to Trump after Indiana, and told his followers to respect the choice of the larger number of Republican voters. But no, Mr Ego couldn’t let go of his bruised feelings, and fomented division amongst us for months, by not coming to terms with his loss and heartily throwing his support to the winner.

Scriptor,

If you are a Cruz supporter, please tell us why, at this time Cruz is worthy of any support.

It appears to most folks who are seeking to displace the Obama/Hillary regime that Cruz was attempting to ensure Trumps defeat so Cruz would have a path in 2020. There is a lot of evidence to support this claim. I will list the actual actions Cruz took that indicate this, if you need them.

Such actions indicate to a lot of us, that the highest value that Cruz holds is....Cruz.

Not a Reagan, not close.

How big of him. I used to really like him. We almost voted for him in the primaries. But we decided on Trump. Thank goodness.

“Cruz supporters...”

Just what is a “Cruz supporter” at this point of the process, anyway?

If such people exist, I’d liken them to Japanese soldiers who hid out in the Pacific islands after WWII was over.

“If the lying worm’s endorsement can improve Trump’s chances of winning, then we should welcome that endorsement.”

His endorsement won’t help even a little bit. His stock value with most voters is less than junk.

Just because I'm a Cruz supporter doesn't mean I'm not voting for Trump. Damn double negative. I really like Cruz and how his mind works. I really like how he takes Obama to task on many issues. Cruz is an ally.

It could be Cruz's highest value is Cruz but I don't see that myself. Maybe I will, but I can tell you this, treating Cruz supporters as they are treated here isn't going to do that. Attacking Cruz supporters is not a smart move.

Also, whenever I mention Cruz and then say I'm voting for Trump, some freeper, without fail, comes along and asks me if I'm going to vote for Trump. It really makes me wonder if reading comprehension is an issue for many here.

I appreciate your post. Thanks.

I can only speak for myself on that, but post 52 in this thread should provide some hints.

To each his own, but I think you've sorely misjudged Ted Cruz. There are a host of solid reasons why he's not the Republican nominee, at this point.

I won't bother re-litigating the case against him. That was done for a solid year on this website, and the record is there for anyone who wants to examine it.

I think I see your view. Thanks for taking the time to write.

I agree on that basis that there should be a fellowship of purpose, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Let bygones be bygones.

That said I really doubt Cruz has any leadership position within the new party, he kind of blew it in 2016.

Ted is singing the blues..
“Hey!
I’m gonna be a wheel one day
I’m gonna be somebody
I’m gonna be a real gone cat”
(Thanks Fats)

He had it, then he lost it.
Such a shame he was such a jerk....a CANADIAN JERK!

“Cruz is an ally.”
Horse droppings, scriptor. If he were our ally, he would have honored his oath and endorsed Donald Trump.
You can spin your infatuation with Grampa Munster any way you want.”Yeah. I’ll vote for Trump ... I guess.”
Good riddance to that POS.

From what I saw of Cruz in the primaries, he showed poor judgment.

He can redeem himself, by endorsing and campaigning for Trump.

If Trump wins or fails to win, other Republicans need his supporters in the future.

Unless of course Cruz feels they are deplorable, and not needed. That would be another display of poor judgment in my view.
