Colleges turn to coloring books to de-stress students

In the age of safe spaces and trigger warnings comes another new trend to the college repertoire: coloring books. This fall, campuses nationwide are offering coloring books to students to help them de-stress.

At American University on Monday, its counseling center provided coloring sheets in honor of Healthy Campus Week, noting on its Facebook page that adult coloring books “can help with a number of emotional and mental health issues.” Conditions cited include obsessive-compulsive, eating, anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as anger management and substance abuse issues.

“The time and focus that adult coloring takes helps the individual remove the focus from the negative issues and habits, and focus them in a safe and productive way,” the AU center stated.

Boot camp will be even more stressful, ya think? WWIII is brewing thanks to Hitlery, Kerry, Zero, and the gutless Congress. All these feel good wimps will be drafted for the coming war. They can take their coloring books to de-stress with after weapons training.

In the 1970’s we hiked in nature, drank beer, participated in sports, smoked, read, actually did our studies and socialized.

I was in ROTC, so we did plenty of "nature hikes"...lol. There were no safe spaces back then, to be sure.

Are they required to remove the “flesh” crayon from the box of 64? If not, they’re racists, I think.

No, but these are now standard at school:

All these feel good wimps will be drafted for the coming war ......................................... OMG, its going to be one hell of a job to deal with these cup cakes. We are going to have to dig multiple latrines in the field to make them happy. Drill Sgt.s will have to be polite when speaking to them and allow them to keep their I phones while in the field so they won’t be bored. Maybe even open guest houses so their lawyers have a place to stay. Its too bad, we never experienced the total wars like WW I and WW II here, but every dog has it’s day. What you see in Syria will come here eventually. Our luck won’t hold out forever, WTC was just the beginning, and we are not heeding the warning. Kumbaya is Bull S#!t!

The millennial generation has been carefully groomed as useful idiots by public education.

This video is hilarious and alarming at the same time.

Actually, I just typed the magic buzzwords into google and copied from the results.

Turns out there actually is an “implementation of gender-responsive climate action in the context of sustainable development” research group that writes science-free reports about the need for “gender mainstreaming in climate policy and action”. The other bit was from wiki.

I tried to make it up myself but I didn’t come close to what actually exists.

Reduce college stress, by starting a new stress, reduce all the students to a preschool activity level. Their sense of self value and worth falls to Davy Jones locker at the bottom of the sea because of this.

As long as Paul Ryan is placed on the front lines, justice will be served : )

Better not be any “flesh-colored” crayons in that box ... the snowflakes would melt at the thought — let alone the site — of such an “atrocity”!
