U2's lead singer Bono stretched out his arms and banged his head on the table when asked by 'CBS This Morning's' Charlie Rose whether he thought Donald Trump was a 'change agent.'
'Look, America is like the best idea the world ever came up with. But Donald Trump is potentially the worst idea that ever happened to America, potentially,' Bono replied. 'It could destroy it,' the rocker added.
Bono was in New York to attend the Clinton Global Initiative, sitting on a panel yesterday alongside former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright; as well as to visit the U.N. General Assembly.

All Trump does is use hate and fear-mongering.
So don’t vote for that racist scumbag because he’s going to destroy America.
Yeah, okie dokey.
Bono is Irish. So is he trying to interfere in our election and if so isn’t that a crime? Either way tell him to butt out and STFU.
What would we ever do with ourselves if we did not have such learned creatures to tell us what we should do?
Bono, you suck.
Join my list of suckers...I'll put you right in there with Colon Crappadick.
Nothing worse than ‘rock stars’ using other people’s money for their fame. That and the fact that their music is crap.
Bono is homo...
"Well, then stay off of this stuff, that's the curse of you people."
The NO NUKES crowd! How could we forget that generation of self-important entertainers! Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, Carly Simon and Bruce Springstreen. Did I miss anybody?
Anyway, all of them entertain us but they certainly do not enlighten us.
Bono and U2 have been up the Clinton’s bum ever since they did a rare nationwide radio interview for album Achtung Baby in 1991 and governor Bill Clinton called them up when he was running for President. Bono all giddy then started interviewing him with possibly some dribble down his leg.
Never understood why they say nothing about Clinton corruption or law breaking. The peacenik band is quite leftist and hypocritical, they wrote songs and joined the bandwagon against Bush war, meanwhile not a peep from the havoc Obozo and Hitlery have waged in the Middle East.
What is also interesting is that U2 were in Paris at the time of the attacks. Also Bono was in Nice, France during the time of that terrorist attack. Wondering how this affected his worldview? Unfortunately hasn’t woken up yet.
They join a long line of bands like Bruce Springsteen or Jon Bon Jovi who when Repub takes office like in the 80’s, they run their gullets about all this enslavement they feel and great weight on their shoulders. An excuse to go against the “establishment”. I’ve been up close to U2 and other rock and rollers like Lars Ulrich of Metallica; there’s an intensity to them, a shimmering anger. It’s not portrayed in media. Part of a certain rock n roll phenomenon I guess, revolting against perceived injustice.
Exactly what I screamed at him.
One noes, Bonoes ...
Another globalist (uneducated) elite telling us deplorables that we don’t know what’s best for us.
I’m 70 this month. I liked Chuck for his songs/lyrics, but was never that big a fan of his guitar playing because I knew he was just copying his piano player, and I’d been a Boogie Woogie piano fan since I was in a play pen! The only way my Mom could shut me up was by putting a stack of 78 rpm Ammons/Lewis/and Johnson on the record player! I was a big Link Wray fan. I’m a Punkabilly! P;ayed pedal steel and lead in Country bands since 1980. Before that I was in a Zappaish band in Milwaukee called Methyl Ethyl and The Ketones. Actress Amy Madigan was Methyl Ethyl. I have recorded with Melodic Metal Master Neil Zaza, but am now pretty much retired.
Bruce Springsteen wasn’t a no nukes guy technically ... He was actually a Soviet method of torture that got loose and started a “music?” career. No joke.
I have no idea how that man or his horrible E. Street band ever got as popular as they did. He cannot sing, his band could barely play, and they all looked like people both jocks and headbangers or greasers (depending on the era) would love to pummel together.
Yeah, I’d listen to the worst disco imaginable for the rest of my life before I’d voluntarily listen to a note of that fraud’s “music?”.
What an ignorant turd.
He is a big pissmop
LOL!!! I was knew someone would post that!
Bono, Ireland is more than welcome to take in the Banshee.
“Well, then stay off of this stuff, that’s the curse of you people.”
Francis Albert makes a good point.
What is it with us Micks and the juice anyway?
Not Bono by the way, he’s one of those nice, goody-two-shoes, Sunday school, South Dublin, protestant boys, not one for propping up the bar counter at lunch time.
He knows Trump won’t invite him to any useless celebratory functions as he will have none as he will be working and not partying.
Exactly right. Trump may be a lot of things he’s accused of being. He may wind up being a terrible president.
No matter how awful he may be - he doesnt come close to approaching Hillary’s level of corruption.
The FBI is already corrupted by her. She has shown complete disregard for the lives of our military & their families.
The Supreme Court has already been corrupted by Obama.
A Hillary victory is much more frightening than a Trump victory.
