Destroying evidence under subpoena and lying to Congress both are liable to charges of Contempt of Congress. I expect all show and no go.
As part of their investigatory powers Congress can try a person for contempt and imprison them until they either testify or produce the evidence subpoenaed, the House until the end of session and the Senate indefinitely.
Then they need to do this with that crook Koskinen for lying about the IRS destroying evidence.
He had some kind of limited immunity from the FBI. I don't believe we've ever actually been told full nature of his immunity, or what was gained by the FBI from it. (if anything). He doesn't have immunity granted by congress. If the congresscritters had actually been interested in the truth of what actually happened, they'd have granted him immunity as well. After all, he's just a low-level criminal who, in the big scheme of things isn't actually important. However, neither congress nor the FBI is interested in the American people actually finding out the truth about what went on, so he was allowed to take the 5th.
Bottom line: if the republicans actually wanted the truth to be known, they would have it.
And Lerner.
And Holder.

Hillary was NOT indicted because some of her crimes will lead directly to Hussein Obama, America's FIRST Muslim President.
Hussein and Hillary lied about the film during the Benghazi scam to hide the fact that Hussein was giving US weapons and aid to Muslim terrorists.

You are so right. The useless GOP congress does nothing except talk and conduct faux hearings that go nowhere. Its all a political show with no substance or actionable results. Its political weakness on display.

Jason Chavitz was on Mornings with Maria ( FBC ) yesterday discussing this . He was all worked up about the illegality of all it . When asked if it was an impeachable offense if Hillary were to be elected he got quiet and said no . “ We don’t want to go there “. So they asked what do you want ? His answer ? “ Well , we just want to get the word out . “
They have no intention of doing anything . Like they’ve done for the past 8 years .
