Hillary Clinton empathized Monday with voters who say the 2016 election is too bitter and contentious, and said at a rally that the race this year for the White House has been depressing at times.
"Politics can be discouraging," the Democratic nominee said at a campaign stop in Pennsylvania.
"This election in particular can be downright depressing sometimes," she said, adding that, "it matters, it really does" that good people run for office and implement good laws.

As a voter, I agree that this campaign at time has been depressing. How on Earth could this woman be leading in most of the polls? Yes, I realize that many of the polls are manufactured and not accurately gauging public opinion. Still, it is depressing to have to read this day after day. I’m sure that’s the plan by the MSM and the DEMs, but I just hope it doesn’t convince enough voters to elect this *itch.

I live for her concession speech. What a treat that will be!
No No No. Especially if she's depressed, we need her running right till election day.
If she drops out, that will be a MUCH riskier scenario for Trump.
Today Trump is up +7 in the LA Times poll less than 3 points form 50%. This election is so over!
Her life seems like a depressing mess. Early on it seem she had potential but her lust for power corrupted her mind body and soul. Hope all those millions were worth it half dead Hillary?
If she truly believes that it really, really matters that good people run, she should step aside and let someone else assume the candidacy. It would have to be a Democrat, so I guess it would still be a little tough to qualify in the “good people” requirement, but at least it wouldn’t be impossible.
Has she made one constructive policy decision lately? I guess you could order her book and read about it there, but you’d think the smartest woman in the world might make mention of them from time to time on the campaign trail.
All we hear about is that Trump is Evil Personified and anyone who votes for him is Certifiably Stupid. What an upbeat campaign.
