But the edgy tone had been set.
After hitching rides with the cast of Modern “Family” and James Corden, Kimmel wound up in a limo driven by former presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
...Upon learning Kimmel was nominated for an Emmy, Bush gave him some advice.
“If you run a positive campaign, the voters will ultimately make the right choice,” Bush deadpanned before adding, “Jimmy, that was a joke, and shave that wig off your face you godless Hollywood hippie.”
....[Kimmel] saved his strongest words for GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, specifically Mark Burnett, who helped made Donald Trump a TV star with his “Apprentice” franchise.
“Many have asked who’s to blame for Donald Trump and I’ll tell you who, h’es sitting right there, that guy – Mark Burnett,” he said. “Thanks to Mark Burnett we don’t have to watch reality shows anymore , we’re living in one.”

These people are NOT even funny. They disgust me. We just had 3 terrorist attacks and they think its a joke? THEY gave us Obama...none of this happened under Bush and Trump will clean house.

The show is so far from America, I turned it off and came back to FR.
THis would have been funny in 08 using Hillary as the chauffeur for Obama. Why didn’t they think of it then? It has become crystal clear there is only one candidate that could take on the media cabal, and that is Trump. I hope he drives this current crop of faux journalists and faux comedians into total irrelevancy.

Kimmel has hit on both candidates. He keeps it fairly non-partisan.

Heck, I thought Trump was up for an Emmy tonight considering the number of times his name was mentioned and it’s only an hour into the show. Disgusting!
