There is so much out there on Obama. The MSM won't touch it. The issue with Obama, as it was with McCain and Cruz, is their eligibility to be President under the Constitution, i.e., are they natural born citizens. It has nothing to do with race.

Obama would never have produced his phony long form BC if not for Trump. The MSM said there was no such form and had to eat their words when Obama produced a fraudulent electronic version. Regardless, this is a non-issue for this campaign. Obama isn't a candidate. Trump never mentioned it in his campaign until the Dems and their surrogates in the MSM made it a manufactured issue to attack Trump in the midst of a very bad stretch for Hillary.

Well, Hillary did send out the message to blacks that they have to defend ‘the legacy of Obama’ this week......so the race baiting remains on her neck and nobody else...she's pushing it and playing Alinsky tactics by blaming her opponent for what she herself is doing.

Wikileaks hacking of the DNC provided many examples of the DNC coordinating their attacks against Trump. Chuck Todd was one example and so was the Politico reporter who cleared his story with the DNC before sending it on to his editor.

I agree, and of course, as an issue, it will work on some of them. Some of those irrationals are in the press, and tell us every chance they get that Trump is a racist bigot, see birtherism applied to Obama.

My point is that I don't think this issue will "turn the election," it won;t trun off enough of the black voters. The black voters that are turned off to Trump after birtherism, are the same ones that wouldn't vote for him no matter what. There might be some marginal changes, but you know, I think those could go either way. Irrationality is common, but not at epidemic levels!

FWIW, the press is telling us that birthersim hurts Trump with white educated females too. "It's not just a black issue" is something Lemon, Van Jones, and the white race hustlers are sure to add as they paint Trump as a racist bigot.

The media seems to think that Trump changing his mind about the Obama birth certificate issue is paramount to the American voters in making their decisions coming in November.

No, the media is working with the DNC to use the "birther issue" against Trump to paint him as a racist. IMO Trump has not changed his mind (thankfully), but rather, he is playing the same games as the Dems. Obama and Hillary both "evolved" on the issue of gay marriage since the 2008 Dem primary. No MSM attention to this flip-flop.

I agree it's coordinated. My narrow point with "I don't think the DNC necessarily drives the talking points" was that the DNC and the press work as a team, and sometimes the press side of that team comes up with better talking points, so the team uses the talking points that originated with its own members.

Still totally coordinated, just not originated or developed by the DNC - agreed to by the DNC for sure, the press will not run (at least not for long) with anything that the DNC waves off.

WHY is this never mentioned by anyone in the Trump camp? Surely they've seen it here. It was researched and proven accurate, not photo-shopped. Someone needs to contact Trump. I sure do wish Kelly Ann had this ammo on MTP today to present to Slug Todd.

This went on for 16 years until Obama started running for President. They blamed the publicist for the error.

I am sure the Trump campaign is well-aware of all of this. But why should they take the bait and make this a big issue deflecting and distracting from Hillary's many vulnerabilities? Obama is not running in 2016.
