This is all window dressing for publicity purposes by an Ivy League leftist school for wealthy progressives to proclaim solidarity with a political movement attempting to force state legislatures into providing free tuition at taxpayer funded schools for the children of illegals.
Elitist Ivy League schools will not be excluding the children of wealthy progressives in order to fill the hallowed halls with poor children from third world illegal immigrants. They’ll admit half a dozen illegals who will be unable to fit in socially or compete academically with the overwhelmingly white children of progressive wealthy alumni. A year later this program will be forgotten and Brown will be 100% focused on its mission of indoctrinating future young progressives so they can fill positions in Wall Street banks, multinational corporations, academia, the federal bureaucracy and top law firms.
The wealthy alumni of elite Ivy League schools aren’t going to diversify the classrooms at Brown and Harvard any more than they are going to let Section 8 multifamily homes be built in their neighborhoods.

Ok, I respect your opinion on this but I am also saying that everyday, the Constitution we have says otherwise. It makes no distinction between an American national or alien.
I am not saying this is proper, quite the opposite. Let human rights for aliens be defined by international treaty or charter and NOT protected by our Constitution.
I am merely raising a point of contention in which one day, an illegal is going to kill a citizen with a firearm and making the successful argument that he was exercising his 2nd Amendment, some say God given, right to self protection, when in essence, he is an armed invader.
If his argument is denied, he may be able to appeal on the 14th Amendment equal protection clause.
I know of no case law that settles this matter.
If they are illegal, why were they not detained?
How does the Constitution say otherwise?
I’m not a constitutional expert but it seems to me if you’re going to have a Constitution at all, whether USA or any other country, that it would apply to your citizens only. So for example, Americans would not be covered under the French constitution, or the Latvian constitution etc and their citizens not under ours.
Just on a logic basis, if a country’s constitution applies to everyone, not just supposed citizens, then the whole concept of nationality and citizenship disappears.
What am I missing?
The only right these criminals deserve is the right to be arrested and deported.
