The bloody collapse of Libya – which triggered a refugee crisis and aided the rise of Isis – is blamed today on David Cameron's blunders when he intervened to overthrow Colonel Gaddafi.
A damning report by MPs condemns the 2011 military campaign for lacking both “accurate intelligence” and a coherent strategy for the aftermath of removing the dictator.
The disastrous results were “political and economic collapse”, tribal warfare, the refugee crisis, widespread human rights abuses and the rise of Islamic State (IS) in North Africa, fuelled by weapons abandoned by the Gaddafi regime.
The Foreign Affairs Select Committee concludes: “Through his decision-making in the National Security Council, former prime minister David Cameron was ultimately responsible for the failure to develop a coherent Libya strategy.”

Fueled much more by weapons and money given to a variety of jihadi groups by the reckless/idiotic Obama/Hillary regime. O & H evidently believed that the best way to bring stability to Libya and Syria is to finance, arm, and train Koranimals and then send them on their murderous way throughout the region. Quite evidently in their (and Cameron's) view, jihadis running the show were preferable to strong-arm (relatively) secular dictators.
Earlier this year Obama had the nerve to blame the entire Libyan "sh!t show" (as he put it) on (for the most part) Britain, attempting to deflect blame from himself and Hillary. Cameron is too much a wuss to fire back. ...and the Kenyan knew it.
Wow, the whole world saw what transpired and BHO/HRC blame shifted Britain for the whole debacle. Incredulous.

Yep. Cameron, a ‘Conservative’ nominally only, functioned much like the uniparty wussified Republicans we are so familiar with here. In their hearts globalists to the core. The fact he got the feces on him from Hillary and Obama without so much as a whimper from him reminds me of the spineless herd avoided here in the dispatching of Bush, Kasich, et.al.
Had everything to do with it. They were pushing revolution starting in Tunesia. They thought they were so Brilliant in Egypt and Lybia - they were working their way into Syria. But, it didn’t work out too well for anyone. They even were living their little experiment with the 1%’ers.

Mr. Cameron was an all out ally of Barack Obama including pushing the Iran nuclear deal in phone calls to US Senators last year.
He deserves credit along with Obama, Hillary, John S, McCain, Lindsey Graham and all the other like the neocons, the Saudis and yes, even the Israelis for cooking up the IS mess in the name of fighting Assad in Syria and by proxy the Iranian regime.
I thought it was an EU/Oil driven policy from Europe. The US simply became the operator with Obama using the event to burn as many cruise missiles as possible to hit targets better struck by grenades, and deplete our ammunition inventory.
