Clinton leads Trump as Americans shrug off her pneumonia scare: Reuters/Ipsos poll

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton leads Republican rival Donald Trump by 4 percentage points, and her recent bout with pneumonia doesn't appear to have scared away her supporters, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

The Sept. 9-15 tracking poll showed that 42 percent of likely voters supported Clinton while 38 percent backed Trump. Clinton, who has mostly led Trump in the poll since the Democratic and Republican national conventions ended in July, regained the advantage this week after her lead briefly faded in late August.

She’s 5’6” or so.

That makes her girth about a 38-40” hip at, oh, 150 lbs.

One site has her at a size 8 dress, if you can believe it. Shoe size, maybe.

Late on a Friday before a weekend. Not coordinated with the Clinton campaign at all! /s

Along with the birther nonsense, this poll will be at the top of the news discussions this weekend.

It really shows what happens the more you get to know the Clintons... In Arkansas where Bill was Gov and she was first lady... Trump is ahead by +28

That says it all.

At the bottom of the article, they concede Hillary’s lead has been shrinking since August.

That’s not what the headline says though.

They should have constant ads by outside groups playing video where she is collapsing and dragged into a car.
Burn that image into the minds of the public like the old Nuke ad.

This poll seems to be out of sync with the others. Manipulated to fit an agenda?

US TV stations: http://www.usnpl.com/index_tv.php

Activism idea:

1. Look up yours.
2. Call their number.
3. Ask for the Advertising office.
4. Tell them you will no longer watch their station and will specifically not buy products (name, name, and name), due to the newscasters’ blatant bias against Trump.

Yup.

Definitely a push poll.

Reuters-Ipsos has been in the tank for Hillary since the summer.

She only wears designer/bespoke, where an *8* is a generous 14. Hell, even cheap clothing these days says something is a six when it varies, mostly around an 8. Not to mention *relaxed* and *stretch*.

Nothing new, either. Back in the day, the late 50s-early 60s, I worked retail. We were told to change tags when at all possible and present the heftier customers with *12s* that were really 16s. And clothing back then was not skimpy in cut and had generous seams. Back then, not all clothing had sewn in size labels.

I do have to say, I don’t recall any such thing as a 1X back then, let alone the higher X sizes. In kids, they were called chubby or hefty. Men’s large sizes were Big & Tall.

Shoes vary so much, that in the cheaper shops, it’s a complete crap shoot, men as well as women. Expensive shoes made in America are mostly true to size, in my experience.

I’m in the San Jose/San Francisco media market. It would be a waste of time threatening them with any type of boycott. They won’t care, other than to maybe submit my contact information to the state and national RAT party.

True...although her husband won with 43% of the vote, so 50% isn’t necessarily a magic number.

There is so much unreasonable about the take in this single headline:

A) This poll does not establish she has recovered from the bad weekend. Other polls show she is still suffering from it.

B) People are not concerned about her pneumonia diagnosis, not everybody even believes that diagnosis. People are concerned about her being super weak, unable to stand, having coughing fits, having seizures, and so forth.

C) Its not clear the health issues hurt her more than the deplorable comment from the same bad weekend.

"The Sept. 9-15 tracking poll showed that 42 percent of likely voters supported Clinton while 38 percent backed Trump."

20% for Johnson/Stein/or "don't know"? That seems high.
