Trump's lead grows to 6.4% as Clinton loses another .5%.
Trump ties highest number in the poll 47.4%, which was on July 27 (post RNC).
Clinton gets 41.0%, just .9% off of her all-time low. The lead is the largest since the RNC bounce in July.
However, they call this election the ugliest in history for a reason. This time if they play ugly, they know they would be responded in kind. Trump will not take it lying down. He will hit back. He could have October Surprise of his own. There is also an outside player Julian Assange. This time their candidate can be clobbered with October Surprise, too. Now that is very ugly to them. So I agree that this is the ugliest election in recent history, because punch will be thrown in both directions, and more bleeding on the ring, after which it is their candidate who is lying on the mat unconscious.
Remember how liberals hounded Barbara Bush for four years? Ivanka would be a target of press, mostly those catering to women such as Cosmopolitan and People. They will do it all through Trump presidency if he is elected.

I have no doubt of that. The public distrust of the press is earned, and as part of the liberal establishment, the reporters are as much fair game as the politicians are.

Well, so far the press has been fabricating issues against Trump, and as their candidate is seen as losing, they will discard all restraint.

Trump is up higher in the polls than the media and these polling companies report.
You might be right but they’ve thrown everything at him so far including the kitchen sink. He just absorbs every attack and becomes stronger.

Folks remember even though Reagan won a landslide in the electoral college in 1980, he only beat Carter by 9.7% in a 3 man race. Carter got 41% of the vote. Expect HC to get at least that much.
