Donald Trump received a very succinct message Wednesday during a speech in Flint, Michigan: focus on the water crisis, not Hillary Clinton.

Trump toured the Flint water plant earlier in the day before delivering brief remarks at the Bethel United Methodist Church.

The church’s pastor, the Rev. Faith Green Timmons, came on stage and abruptly told Trump, “I invited you here to thank us for what we’ve done in Flint, not give a political speech.”

Without missing a beat, Trump responded, “OK. That’s good. Then I’m going back to Flint, OK?”

Trump finished his remarks and left the church.

Imagine someone wanting to talk politics when running for President, it’s unheard of!

“I invited you here to thank us.”

What does that even mean?

**Rev. Faith Green Timmons**

Stopped reading there.

Christ selected MEN as the first apostles. These churches need to follow the Bible.

People like this woman produce one “great” line after another.

Honestly, no offense to Mr. Trump, there should be no involvement of any Federal government candidate, official, or bureaucrat EVER in local water-quality issues. I hope he said something to that effect, and thus pissed off Rev. Thang.

That statement by the pastor makes no sense, so I don't get the verbal exchange.

Yeah, like who invites somebody over so that someone can thank them. What was he supposed to be thanking them for? This takes the cake for assinine today.

The pastor’s comment made no sense, and neither did Trump’s response. But oh well. Who makes sense all the time?

Good for Trump. This was no big deal. I couldn’t believe this was the lead story on ABC News Tonight, ahead of Hillary’s medical records, Trump’s Dr. Oz appearance, Trump’s moving ahead in the polls, hacked emails quoting Colin Powell saying Bill Clinton was still fuc$ing bimbo’s at home, etc. The lead story was Trump being asked not to make a political speech. The drive bys are so biased.

Oh, I invite people over all the time so they can thank me. For example, my neighbors thank me for telling the Deputy Sheriff that I have no idea who those three drunk people in a car with a dog in front of my house are.

Hmm, I don’t think that Pastor’s neighborhood will be on the top of Trump’s list to revitalize.

I didn’t know this was the LEAD on fake news for ABC!

You know, the funny thing is most of the fake journalists working today are TOO YOUNG and/or TOO IGNORANT of history to recall the 1980 election. The media didn’t like Carter, but they HATED Reagan.... and it showed.

Look what happened. Could history be repeating itself? Just saying...
