Leaked emails from former Secretary of State Colin Powell show him strongly criticizing Donald Trump, labeling him a "national disgrace and an international pariah."
He also called the birther movement, which the Republican presidential nominee helped lead, "racist."
"That's what the 99% believe. When Trump couldn't keep that up he said he also wanted to see if the certificate noted that he was a Muslim," Powell wrote in an August email.

Did they discuss at length the emails where Hillary couldn’t walk up podium steps and how she and Bill hate Obama and call him “that man”?
Powell is a spineless bastard who is allowing himself to be treated as Hillary’s house negro.
Powell could have gone down is history as one of the finest American patriots.
Yet he chooses this road.

And let’s not forget Powell’s emails where he talks about Hillary trying to throw him under the bus for her email scandal.

Powell gets it wrong again. There was no “birther” movement. Obama’s allies in the Hawaiian vital records bureau concealed release of his actual certificate issued in 1961, opting instead for a computer data release. Why did they do this?
Obama knew full well that the original document in 1961 listed the religion of the father, which was Moslem. His zeal to conceal that fueled the necessity to document his U.S. birth.
Apparently Colin Powell has been trafficking in “dark conspiracy theories since 2015. Jeffrey Leeds said Hillary could “barely climb the podium” while Powell described how bad she looked after her busy schedule of collecting money.
He is doing a superb job of ruining his reputation.

Judging from Obama’s recent embarrassing fiasco in China, I’d say he’s the pariah.
Powell is entitled to his opinion. I just don’t see it. Powell is using emotional language. He should be thankful that he didn’t run against Trump in the primaries.
Little twerp at CNN leads with this instead of “Hillary screws up everything she touches” or “Hillary can’t even make it up a couple of stairs.”
Then pretends Powell is still a Republican not mentioning that he switched sides a long time ago, supporting Obama in 2008 and 2012.
