Trump's Throwback Thursday: During a visit to a charter school on Cleveland's East Side, Trump looked to the past while continuing to make his case for an urban agenda, cleveland.com's Andrew J. Tobias reported.
"If we can put a man on the moon, dig out the Panama Canal and win two World Wars, I have no doubt that we can provide school choice to every disadvantaged child in the country," Trump said during his 40-minute speech, which focused on education issues.
The scene at Trump's visit: Trump fans and detractors peacefully faced off before the billionaire's appearance at the Cleveland Arts & Social Sciences Academy charter school, cleveland.com reporter Henry Gomez writes.
"Fans of the Republican nominee for president outnumbered the foes. Their encounter was mostly peaceful, but hardly polite," writes Gomez, who posted a video of the encounter. "Most of those outside demonstrating against Trump were abortion-rights advocates who are upset with the New York businessman's shifty, but ultimately anti-abortion stance."
Background on Trump's charter school visit: The owner of the charter school Trump visited, Ron Packard, is a "major figure in the national charter school community for years," Plain Dealer reporter Patrick O'Donnell writes. "He's also made several moves in the last two years to be a significant charter school force in Ohio."
Packard said he did not offer his school to Trump because he is a supporter.
"My position is irrelevant," he said. "I wouldn't say I am a supporter or I'm not. I support school choice and what's relevant is the attention for high quality charter schools."

I believe it! I live in NE Ohio and have seen many Trump signs, although I did see my first Hillary sign today. But I think the enthusiasm is on Trumps side. Now if I could only convince my boss (a staunch conservative) to vote for Trump. She is brainwashed by Glenn Beck! Ugh! She still think that Cruz is going to somehow make it. I also saw a Gary Johnson and Hillary for prison sign in the same yard. I just think to myself that if they vote for Gary Johnson, there is no way in HECK that Hillary will go to prison. He doesn’t stand a chance!
Ohio isn’t even a swing state, he has it in the bag and has had it in the bag since last year

Fox New’s slimy Carl Cameron told viewers that this charter school had a D rating, as though it doesn’t take some time to get students caught up after they’ve wasted time in Cleveland’s government schools. He won’t ever catch Clinton going to a charter school to help those poor children, since she collects millions from teachers’ unions.
Trump will win NH, VA and NC for sure. If its a landslide, CT and NJ are doable pickups.
The traditional ‘worry’ states of Ohio and Florida look good for Trump at this point. I’d add Wisconsin, PA, and Maine to your list with Trump likely taking NC, NH, and 1-2 surprises.

High 30s look to be her max now - not good news.

I’m here in NJ right now and no one told me it’s a swing state. Sorry. I wish it was.
With 22 undecided (I’m tossing minor candidates into that number) that seems very good for Trump.
Part of the reason we’re seeing panic articles like ‘Texas is in play’ is to offset the reality that Trump is up in crucial states. Casting solidly red states as potential Hillary pickups balances things out for the liberal idiots for now.
Please tell me PA is in the bag for Trump too...
