Thanks! I will definitely consider that option. I had not thought of it, much less that it would do any good, but I will now have to reconsider. Thanks again!

Are you dense? Did you not read what was alrady directed at you?

Tens of thousands of greedy unscrupulous employers/individuals who hire millions of illegals and these low wage HB types who are taking American jobs, are only driven by profits regardless of consequences.

Do you deny this?

Again, whose hardware do you buy if not Dell? Lenovo, HP, Cisco?

Amazon builds their own commodity servers. Again if an overextended company put together an overextended deal where their only option is now laying off employees and bringing in indentured servants let them go bankrupt.

Let a better company pick up the technology at a discount and run it for a profit properly. What's the point of keeping too many companies around if they need cheap labor to make them successful?

I’ve been saying that since 1999 about the Union. In the dot com bubble the way EMC abused its employees specifically the Field engineers like myself was criminal. We carried pagers and were worked around the clock for years with little time off but we put up with it because the stock was doing great. Then came the tech bubble burst causing EMC stock to tank and subsequent the H-1B invasion.

why are you buying storage some a software company?

There are MANY alternatives to the old guard. Do your research.

Talk to resellers - get advice. You can do better.

In the enterprise EMC devices and VMware are a very big deal.

In my personal finances, EMC and VMWare are a very big deal.

People still buying cells?

As in PCs and laptops? This EMC deal has nothing to do with that business.

I’ve been in Hopkinton (Support) for 16 years. We’ve probably worked together at one point or another.

I was on vacation catching up and was using my tablet. No copy/paste function so I typed it in and...fat fingered it. I hate touch screens.
