China’s national carrier is embroiled in a race row after its inflight magazine carried a warning that visitors to London should avoid ethnic minority areas.
Air China’s Wings of China magazine said the British capital was generally safe, but warned “precautions are needed when entering areas mainly populated by Indians, Pakistanis and black people".
It was carried in English and Chinese in an article about London’s attractions under the headline "Tips from Air China”.

Especially since the majority of the ‘danger zones’ have draconian carry laws, so in order to ‘protect’ oneself, one must become a felon or at the very least a lawbreaker...so best to avoid the area....
The PC mob live their lives based on PC assertions, and become very exercised when others decline to do so.

So... What’s the problem? I wouldn’t go into those areas as a tourist, either.
Naive international tourists actually should be directed away from high crime areas. They don’t understand the culture, they can’t “read” the behavioral warnings that the natives of that country can. It’s bad for business, for tourists to get robbed, beaten or killed. If doing so ends up highlighting minority areas, whose problem is that, those who point it out or those who perpetrate the crimes? I suspect there are lower class white areas that are pretty sketchy too, though.
