After a prolonged argument with some Leftists, I recently realized that some are simply incapable of separating color from culture. They refuse to consider that some cultural behaviors make a group flourish, while others are self-destructive; they hold as axiomatic the notion that “no group is superior to others”. As such, the only explanation they are cognitively allowed to hold is: anyone making demeaning observations about another culture must be doing so solely because of differing skin color. Cognitive dissonance really kicks in when you point out people who are (or aren’t) successful quite clearly because of their chosen behaviors (see “uncle Toms” or “trailer trash”). Unable to admit behavior => consequences, they demean others as “racist” - usually because of the others’ skin color.
I’m all for MLK’s “dream”. I think general American culture is almost as close thereto as any nation ever has been. On the cusp of eliminating racism, those whose behaviors lead to their own downfall grasp for means of continuing age-old blame - appealing to “micro aggressions”, demanding “safe spaces”, and demanding discrimination based on skin color.
MLK would be horrified.
It just so happens that some of the world’s most irresponsible people have certain cultural and biological characteristics.
Blaming Whitey is just one of their MANY crutches.
It is hard to deal with anyone who continually deals in lies.
The left continually deals in lies, and acuses conservatives of doing the same.
They have pi$$ed in the pot of civil society in their lust for power and control.
Thugs exist in present day America because of the Law Enforcement Community. If there were no prosecution for murder, there would be no thugs.

This is absolutely correct. We don't have a "racial" divide; we have a "marriage" divide. (Thank you feminazis) I have come to the conclusion that Black people honestly do think that there is a "stash" someplace exclusively for handing out nice neighborhoods, schools, etc. to white people only. They want some of the stash.
But, there is no stash, there are choices that people make in life. Get married, STAY married (&, btw, beating up your spouse is NOT "just part of marriage"). Get a HS degree. Get a job, stay at that job for at least a year, get a better job ---- rinse and repeat. Raise your children together, so that they have, and know, both of their parents.
This stuff is not a secret -- it is just that blacks do not seem interested in doing this stuff.
I have discussed my husband's background; but, here it is: His father died when my husband was just in his early teens, his mother was an alcoholic. His brother suffered a head injury in a motorcycle accident, and has never been the same since. What insurance money his mother got after his father's death, was eaten up by the medical bills for this brother.
Hubby did get a scholarship for college; but, it was for four years, and he didn't finish in the four year time frame. He found a job,anyway, in his field and he went to night school at a local university in Oklahoma to finish his degree.
We will be married for 36 years this January, we have 2 wonderful daughters, one of whom is getting married this month.
My husband grew up with tragedy, and a mother with a drinking problem. They had very little money. This is his "white privilege". Going through all of that, working in his field and steadily improving his qualifications. And, now having money pulled out of his paycheck that he worked for and given to someone else so that they can whine about White Privilege.
Let them segregate themselves. Look at Chicago --- those are black deaths by other blacks --- every weekend. White people have nothing to do with that.
I don’t think they’ll actually shut up, they’ll just switch over to lecturing us in Spanish or Swahili instead of English.

Do you think cops treat Asians the same way they treat blacks? And if not, why not? Do you think it's because they are only racist against blacks? but love Asians?
or MAYBE just MAYBE they treat Asians differently because Asians ACT DIFFERENTLY ?
If most Asians don't commit crimes, don't resist arrest, follow orders when given, ect. THAT is why they are treated differently.

And THEN you MIGHT understand why COPS treat young black males different. Because they have a history of ACTING different that leads ANYONE with a brain to know to be more fearful of them.

Accusations of racism have been so overused and misused that the word itself it has become a joke to everyone other than the radical left, idiot self loathers and black racists themselves.

I will happily stand up for anyone who has been wronged regardless of skin color... but I won’t stand with a group that claims all law enforcement officers are racist oppressors, or believes that every time a black man is killed in a confrontation with a cop that the cop was in the wrong.
Hands Up, Don’t Shoot... was a lie, that’s not what happened, and if you insist on perpetuating that myth, there is little common ground for us to build from.
The guy who was choked and dragged to the ground for selling loosies in NYC, no doubt, cops did horribly wrong. GUy who got shot with his hands in the air and explaining to the police the guy he was with was mentally impared and no threat, yep cops were completely in the wrong... but to try to argue every incident where police use deadly force against a black perp is an example of racism or systemic opression, sorry you lost any standing in the world of reason.
