Poor kids can get an education now - if they want it and if they want to study. They also get free school supplies, a free computer, free lunch, and free food to take home.
The result: millions of obese children who are illiterate and innumerate.
There are three kinds of people - those who can count and those who can’t.
I think the author could have spent a bit more time in math class:
Currently, two places now have enacted $15 minimum wage laws New York, California and Washington D.C.
Minimum wage doesn’t need to go up. The cost of living needs to come down. The dollar needs to spend better than it does. Such an adjustment benefits everyone and not just a few min. Wage workers.

Ya know, if the author can't count to three, I'm not sure how much credence I give them on economic issues.
It's as much the students that need fixing as the schools. Copping an attitude is not going to get you educated. Propaganda is not going to get you educated. Bad behavior is not going to get you educated.

We see eye to eye on the seizure of power that is taking place in our society. In the words of Trump, “Not good, Not good”.

You raise the minimum wage and inflation gobbles it up in a few years. What’s the point?
Hint: Union dues.
Only 7% of the USA’s work force is in a union.
I used to be against the minimum wage before NAFTA and the 90's free trade agreements. Now I am all for it. $15/hr is too low.
I posted in another thread, that I have worked for minimum wage and every time the minimum wage was raised our hours were reduced. Which meant we didn’t get no raise. It we were lucky the wages stayed the same as they were, if not the wages were reduced. Employers know how to get around it and I don’t blame them.
Doing something in defiance of the constitution is not the same as having the authority to do it. Some people have robbed banks but that does not mean they had the authority to rob banks simply because they did it.
Unless I am grievously mistaken, those are three discrete (although not discreet) places, not two.
They have the authority if the courts refuse to do anything about it. Remember, we enslaved people in this country.
