Pence on Clinton: 'Most dishonest candidate...since Richard Nixon'

WASHINGTON (NBC) - Republican Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence reacted to the FBI's notes on its interview with Hillary Clinton by calling her "the most dishonest candidate for President of the United States since Richard Nixon" in an exclusive interview on NBC's "Meet the Press."

"It is a tough charge," Pence conceded when pressed, "But, come on."

The Indiana governor continued, "What's evident from all of the revelations over the last several weeks is that Hillary Clinton operated in such a way to keep her emails, and particularly her interactions while Secretary of State with the Clinton Foundation, out of the public reach, out of public accountability."

All of the revelations regarding Clinton's use of private email, according to Pence, "truly does disqualify her from serving as President of the United States."

While Clinton battles accusations of secrecy and wrongdoing, the Trump campaign also has questions to answer on the issue of transparency.

Neither Donald Trump nor Mike Pence have released their tax returns - but Pence says that will change soon.

"Donald Trump and I are both going to release our tax returns," Pence pledged. "I'll release mine in the next week."

Pence, however, wouldn't commit to a timeline on when Trump's returns would come out: "Donald Trump will be releasing his tax returns at the completion of an audit."

Pressed on if that would be before November's election, Pence replied, "Well, we'll see."

Disagree about the comparison. No candidate in Presidential history even comes close to the corruption and lies of Madame Amnesia.

Though not a bad idea to tie her character to the Lefts biggest boogieman

Nixon was a rank amateur compared to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Oh, Nixon is a towering pillar of honor compared to crooked Hillary. He had his flaws...she is nothing except one flaw after another after another, there is nothing about her that isn’t decrepit.

Get lost Pence. She’s the most dishonest candidate since Barack Obama, POSOTUS. Both should be in federal prison at a minimum.

He did not have to go back to Richard Nixon. Hillary Clinton was a first lady who was involved in policy duyring Bill Clinton’s administration. She was involved in scandals, murders and the trashing of women during her husband Bill Clinton’s administration.

No ... Hillary Clinton is the most dishonest candidate since Barack Obama.

Then Barack Obama was the most dishonest candidate since Hillary Clinton.

President Nixon served honorably in World War II.

Nixon was a victim of the liberal media AND he never got rich.

Bill Clinton’s ethics made Nixon look like Harry Truman. I find it frustrating sometimes how people don’t realize that much of our present nightmare now exists because of that cur.

He also could have contested the 1960 election, but put the country ahead of his ambitions during a precarious time in the Cold War.

I like that Pence made the comparison. It breaks tradition with a republican using another historic republican to represent a bad example. That would not have been done in the past. However, this election process has shown us that many repubs we all used to revere with little question , such as the Bush Dynasty, are not beyond reproach.

I just hope Mike Pence is ready for the backlash from the media. They will circle the wagons around their candidate, no matter how flawed she is seen to be. This comparison will not go unanswered during this upcoming week.

We just need to look at this from a Democrat voter’s point of view.

OK.

I’m a Democrat voter.

I want Hillary Clinton to be my President because.....

She has shown so much compassion and concern for regular people.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

She has a real record of success in executive positions in government or business.

Hahahahahahaha!

Because she’s so honest.

Hahahahahahaha!

Because she’s so darn pleasant and likable.

Hahahahahahaha!

Because she’s so selfless and always puts other people ahead of herself.

Hahahahahahahahaha!

Because she’s so smart.

Hahahahahahahahaha!

Bubba Krinton gets a pass, yet again.

Nixon wasn’t a saint but he wouldn’t have sold every secret and favor to the highest bidder. He was never accused of rape or murder either.

I hope he doesn’t run for President in 2024!

Even better i hope Trump replaces him in 2020 with a solid Trump like person.

This is a calumny on Nixon. ‘Illary is in an entirely different universe of evil and corruption. Pence should drop this line of rhetoric - Right Now.
