Trump's hard-line stance on immigration may hurt the GOP for generations to come (LA Slimes alert)
Los Angeles Slimes ^ | September 4, 2016 | Doyle McManus

Donald Trump’s passionate revival last week of his hard-line stance on immigration looks more and more like a political disaster for the Republican nominee and his party.

Trump’s angry speech in Arizona, in which he promised to deport not only criminal aliens but millions of other immigrants living in the country illegally, prompted at least three members of his Hispanic Advisory Council to resign. It instantly became fodder for Democratic efforts to mobilize millions of Latino voters in swing states such as Florida and Nevada. And it probably didn’t convince many undecided voters that Trump can be a unifying force in a deeply divided country.

But winning undecided moderates may not have been Trump’s goal. Instead, his former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, said on CNN that the speech was aimed principally at “white males,” to ensure “he has locked them in.”

What - some MSM blowhard is supposed to tell us for whom to vote?

We already know for whom he will vote. Why should we care?

Trump’s hard line on illegal aliens and the enforcement of existing law will help the GOP for a century or more. Millions flocking to Trump in support of obeying the law!! The President swore to uphold and enforce the law. The President doesn’t get to ignore signed statute without being impeach . Did he just lie to God on his oath? ENFORCE THE LAW!! You don’t get to pick and choose. Maybe President Trump will just waive enforcement of the revenue laws?

Many who wear R jerseys have been actively trying to convince the citizens that abandoning the rule of law and surrendering our country was our only choice.
Rubio, Graham, McCain, Flake, etc.
Then they worked to make that true by only running candidates who were of the same mindset, effectively blocking the citizens from stopping the illegal alien inundation.
Every GOP Presidential candidate since the last amnesty has been a Cheap Labor Express stooge.
It would have happened again but for Trump.
That is why the visceral hatred for Trump.
They are protecting a 30 bipartisan policy of non-enforcement of immigration laws.
The invasion was intentional.
They will go all out to prevent Trump from re-establishing the rule of law.

If illary starts losing bad enough, it won’t just be Bush appointees endorsing her, we will see the entire Bush family endorse the wicked witch of Chappaqua.

Any US citizen or illegal currently working as cheap labor knows that a greater supply of workers is going to drive down their wages at best and put them out of a job at worst. How is this not obvious?

The press is trying to define Trump’s agenda with these sorts of critiques of Trump’s strategy because they know in their yarbles that Trump’s immigration message is sounding like a clarion among working class voters. They know that there are two months for that message to reverberate and shatter Hillary’s campaign like an Ella Fitzgerald Memorex commercial.

Shh, folks. Listen. LISTEN . . .

For the sound of the Los Angeles Times offices being blown apart (SFX human tissue and body parts, computers, desks, condums, that rain, drip, and ooze onto Broadway, Second Street, and Spring Street) by explosive devices carried into the building by illegal alient Muslim Terrorists who snuck into Los Angeles from Mexico.

What utter nonsense! Since when will any party be considered a political disaster because they believe in law and order?

Why does congress soil itself by passing laws and then ignoring them? ...punished for obeying the law? The LA Times should shut down in disgrace!

If America is fortunate Trump’s Immigration stance, or just Trump’s whatever’ will END the GOP for all time and send the gopes either into the wilderness or into the jaws of Democrat Hell where they belong. Then, perhaps a new party can be built that, for a time, will not be corrupt.

I was just now thinking that it would fun to go to a 2020 GOP campaign event and stand there with my back to whichever hack they choose for us.

Oh yes….the LA Times is so worried about the GOP. Give me a break. What they are really worried about is Trump building the wall and slowing the invasion of illegal aliens, thus shutting off the prospects of an expanding Democrat electorate. After all, Democrats have aborted millions of future voters and sold their body parts, sending the proceeds to candidates such as Clinton and Pelosi, and Trump may shut down this hideous sin too.

Just came from my local park where I one of 2 English speakers (my son the other) among 250 Spanish speakers, most of whom I happen to know are illegal aliens. 5 years ago there were NONE.

It's Trump...or America is finished. That simple.

If existing laws regarding illegal migration had not been ignored for decades, we would not face a problem of the present magnitude. As a result of this non-enforcement of statutes, Trump would hardly need the authority of another law to implement his anti-illegal-immigration policies.
