It’s admissible for the internet. That is worse.
That’s right I forgot about that point.
I think she was getting canned, and now Carlson plays the I’m a victim card.
Even though it did not bother her when it initially happened and for years.
ONLY when she is about get $hit canned.
New York is a one party consent state. You do not need both parties to give consent, so Gretchen did not do anything illegal.

I hope you aren't actually providing anyone advice. In some states consent of both parties is required. Making such a recording in New Hampshire, for example, is illegal.
The Murdoch boys are buttering her bread now, not Roger and Mr. Murdoch. So even Greta will have to show them some ‘luv’ every so often if she wants to stay on Fox.
>>It would be funny if she wound up behind bars, even if just for a week.

Why would that be funny? She is the wronged party, the victim of sexual harassment that no woman should EVER have to encounter anywhere. I don’t understand why you would find her having to spend a week in jail “funny”.
How stupid was Ailes to do this when he was the head of Fox which was under so much scrutiny? It’s odd that one of the least talented people at Fox brought him down.
I hope so. After reading her affidavit, I wanted to punch the b*stard out myself! Other heads need to roll too.
His resigning so quick said there was evidence. Now we know.
“Absolutely legal anywhere if you are a party!!”
Not in all States. It is a crime in some States: Liberal States, usually.
With the right amount of money and fame you can be lauded by millions and also get away with:
Pedophilia: Michael Jackson
Drugging and Rape: Bill Cosby
Rape and sexual harassment: Bill Clinton
Rape and drugging: Roman Polanski
Disgusting pervertedness: Woody Allen
There’s more, but you get my drift.
Nope. Record yourself and all surrounding sounds— anytime— any where . Take that from me.
“Nope. Record yourself and all surrounding sounds anytime any where . Take that from me.”
Well, you’re not an attorney and your advice is ignorant.
You’re right. I probably expressed that poorly. I’m still unhappy that Ailes was forced from his position as Programming Director of Fox. However, if he is guilty of this behavior, then the consequences are deserved.
I would have to be as wealthy as Trump or the Clintons before I became that paranoid. Unfortunately, some people have to become just as watchful as you described.
Thank you, Lee. I think DJT has hired him for whatever he can contribute in the way of his expertise, to the Trump campaign. It will be interesting to see how Mr. Trump reacts to the revelation of the existence of these tapes.
I have no doubt that as Ailes, (unless he is an out-of-control loser like Weiner), will be on his best behavior while in Trump’s employ. Otherwise, DJT will drop him “like a dog” (to quote Mr. Trump’s expression...LOL)
“Like a Dog!” indeed.
Read the piece. Yes, she can, in New York.
Suppose someone secretly records a conversation w/o consent and after having signed a statement forbidding recordings.
Liability for the person making the secret recording?
Any admissibility?
