The only people “thriving” under the idiot nostrums of 0bamacare are the people who are exempted from it. The political class is doing just fine for itself. The rest of us, not so much.

I swear that this country is going to try to make the “first black president” sound like he was a miracle worker ... articulate [not] and able to raise all classes of Americans up [not].

They don’t mention all of the Americans who had to drop out of the work force.

The Obama administration bought influence with Gallop through employer mandated Gallop surveys.

Gallup is contracted through a variety of federal contract vehicles, including the GSA Schedule for Management, Organizational, and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS), and Navy SeaPort-e.

Most large federal contractors are also forced to contract with Gallop on their useless surveys and management tools.

Honest polling is nearly nonexistent today, and every part of government has been corrupted.

For anyone who does believe it I have some ocean front condos for sale in South Carolina. No, not at Myrtle Beach or Folly Beach, in Pickens. Slim Pickens you might say.

“47 Million (plus) thriving on food stamps?”

According to the way these people think someone who is currently living on welfare and EBT in a house furnished by the taxpayers and has a free phone and a TV etc. is far wealthier than my grandfather who never received a penny from the government, had very little in the way of modern amenities (many of them didn’t exist) but owned his home, vehicle and several hundred acres of farm land free and clear and had cash in the bank. I’m not kidding, that is the way they think. If those who claim to be “thriving” are living at the expense of those who work it doesn’t matter, they are still “thriving” according to these fools.

Ficdep of Minitrue is alive and well and in full operation under the Current Regime. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Newspeak, that is the Fiction Department of the Ministry of Truth.

Not simply propaganda, but making up their own set of facts to support the official position.

I have a great job....but have not had a raise in 6-7 years.

Most everything I use..and buy..has gone up.

I pay..1/2 of what I make to taxes...in one form or another.

Gallup is making stuff up again!!

“I’m making less than 1/2 what I did in the last year of the Bush administration.”

Under Reagan and GHW Bush I made more in one day by accident than I can make in a month on purpose now.

After adding $10,000,000,000,000 to the National Debt in just eight years, I hope somebody is thriving.

Is a 1.1% GDP considered thriving? How about a massive increase in crime on the Inner Cities, thriving?

Goebbels is spinning at Warp 9.9...

Um ... wrong. I was making nearly 6 figures at a major insurance company in 2008 when he was elected. In 2010, I was laid off (thanks, Obamacare). Took a job for 30k a year less in the computer server sector. Two years later, I got laid off again (thanks, offshore outsourcing). Got another job ... still making the same as I was in 2010 when I took that second job. Fun job ... really enjoying it ... but my pay has more or less been stagnant for 6 years ... very little upward movement. My wife had to go back to work. My kids had to leave private school and go back to government schools. The cost of EVERYTHING has skyrocketed while my pay has not. No ... I’m not better off. Not at all.

Hillary’s campaign had a poll made up to counter Trump’s “what do you have to lose” question.

You don’t even need the health care cost... go look at the median household income Jan 2009 now now.. even without the fiasco that is Obamacare... your earnings have gone down throughout this guys presidency

Like your definition of thriving. It’s just in how you look at things, that matter.

There is no doubt that, compared with 2008, the country is far worse off now.

Remember: The “Great Recession” came about only after it was clear that OZero had a good chance of becoming president. It was mainly that development that caused the job creators to head for the exits. Had McCain run a better campaign, the recession never would have happened — or at the very least it would have been FAR less severe.

Things have only gone down hill ever since.
- Taxes have doubled for most WORKING Americans.
- REAL Unemployment has gotten much worse.
- Inflation is raging (don’t believe the manipulated government numbers).
- Sharia law on the rise (23 federal judges openly use it, others quietly slip it in).
- Abortion is up. Violent crime is up. Illegal immigration has almost doubled.
- Thanks to Obamacare, FEWER people have health insurance than before.
- It’s becoming almost impossible to be admitted to college unless you’re a minority or a sexual deviant of some kind.
- Christians are being persecuted in America like never before.
- It’s not actually illegal to be a white, Christian male with a job, but it’s become stigmatized.
- The gloBULL warming hoax is now government policy.

I am much better prepared for a nation-wide disaster than ever before. That’s a positive.

The big negatives include the loss of freedom, the massive debt that will be a burden on my children, and the destruction of the American culture. Overall, these eight years have been terrible for me, for my family, and for all real Americans.

Come down to LA and look at all the homeless tents under every overpass. If a Bush was in office it would be on every newscast round the clock.
