*** I stopped at Sams on the way back from the VA thursday and picked up a 24 pounder. Got it cooked and it turned out excellent. Ended up with about 10 pounds of sliced and about 2 pounds of chopped. ***

Tractor Supply in Dripping Springs had a Smoke Vault like my MSRP $349 one for $89.99. Snagged it for my friend’s husband. Early Christmas Present. He wanted one, but his wife said he has enough toys. I thought mine from TSC here was a bargain at $199. I am having fun with mine, but pellet smokers seem to be the rage now.

Yup, used the neighbors pellet grill. It worked ok but, hard to get a good smoke ring without good heat and smoke at the same time. With a pellet grill you can get good smoke but without the heat and vice versa.
Gotta wait another 6 weeks for another followup to make sure the PSA levels are not elevating. The worry is that maybe a few cells remained and the possibility of having some radiological therapy down the road.
Just have to wait and see.

Up early, I see. Well, I think we’ve had a pretty good week, even thought the media, especially people like George Will were bashing Trump’s visit to Detroit.
It also amazes me how much air time they’re giving to the two goofy candidates out there, as if they’re trying to get one to rise high enough for one of the debates.
