“Late Monday Tavarres backed out of his pledge to sit for the anthem and released this statement.”

But you are a rookie and therefore you are replaceable...Hey Rook, punch your fist into a bucket of water, the hole you leave in that bucket of water is the same hole you will leave in the NFL when you are released by the Eagles...keep’n it real homie.

Take your silly a$$ protest BS somewhere else!!

How nice that he has an agent who is a grownup. Too many of these men-children pampered ungrateful athletes think they're entitled to everything that was handed to them.

It's past time to end affirmative action for college admission. Maybe if these creeps actually had to have deserved the educational opportunities they've been handed, they wouldn't be so damn self-serving.

I can’t read his statement in font 2

But “For some reason he thought this would not affect his chances of making the team.”

Could it be because the 49ers are ok with their team members doing it?

It’s easier to insult your country with 120 mil in the bank.

No, please. Be a moron. Sit with a smug look on your face. Get others to join you.

I’m not a football fan so I don’t care, but it would make me laugh long, hard and continuously to see these idiots destroy the NFL and their teams when no one is watching the games.

Smart thinking. Unusual in a rookie.

Myke learned the hard lesson of the NFL. If you aren’t a star player, you have to do what you’re told to do. If you stir the pot and aren’t a star, you get fired.

I think he found out it was connected to a muzzie agenda...and not social injustice.

There is no social injustice. Life is what you make it. You can’t commit crimes and not expect there to be repercussions. Also, you can’t get a job if you don’t do the work... education, dress nice, talk intelligently. The whole responsibility lies with the individual. Don’t like that way of thinking, leave the country. Go somewhere you feel more welcome.

Heard some idiot on the Steelers being interviewed about Kaepernick.

“Well, the man is standing up for what he believes in, so I have to respect that.”

If he were a Nazi and were standing-up for his belief in a Master Race and that all Jews should be rounded-up and killed, would you have to respect THAT too?

The lack of any cognitive analytical reasoning skills in this generation is truly shocking.
