And the mother says so — both the little girl and the little boy didn’t mean any “race” statement — they just wanted to dress up as their idols
Strangely enough there are quite a few blondes and red heads among the dark skinned aboriginals and melanesian peoples. They may be dark skinned, but they are Caucasian by race
Especially prevalent among the little kids. You see a lot of blonde curls on Aboriginal children.
Try reading the article......it clearly says the girl was dressed as a Dr. Seuss character. Annie is not Dr. Seuss
Au contraire, I read a good deal of Dr. Seuss, and am aware of Things 1 and 2.
Beautiful child.
Thanks to post-modern deconstructionists, we cannot just have fun anymore.
Blacks should be happy a white kid considers one of them a hero. Attacking him for doing so will sour him and his friends on the entire group.
The Uyghur are Turkic and their homeland within China is Xinjiang Province. Way up to the northwest and separated from the rest of China by the Taklamakan Desert (which from the air traveling to Urumqi was the most desolate terrain I’ve ever seen ... like a cold version of Arabia’s Empty Quarter). Unfortunately, the province has oil and is steadily being colonized by the Han Chinese, who rule the place now as a privileged minority through an iron fisted secret police. But the native peoples there are “Caucasian”.
As far as white people go, the blue collar white people in Australia tend to be credulous and prone to emotionalism and tend to be herd animals.
It’s kinda disappointing, really.
My daughter attends a highly desirable elementary school which attracts some students outside of our neighborhood. A couple of years ago, her second grade “living American history museum” included several Jackie Robinsons— including one student of pallor who used something to darken his complexion. One of the proudest George Washingtons was a dark completed boy doing the opposite. None of the kids or teachers seemed to have any problem with it but there were definitely parents squirming! Asked my daughter about it and she hadn’t even noticed them so I dropped it. Both of the students were immigrants (Eastern European and African) whose families apparently hadnt yet learned of PC norms and were enthusiastic about the American experience their children were a part of. I was curious to see if they amended the costume guidelines in following years.
This embarrassment over "blackface" is trained into people by others going back in history and dredging it up so that they can revel in indignation over it.
My advice to people is to "take it back." Make it non-embarassing by taking away it's sting. Innocents do not know of it, and there is no reason that it should be taught to be a source of racial embarrassment.
Let succeeding generations forget it was ever a "thing."
