Those KKK Republicans

Yes, both candidates make personal attacks on their rivals, but there is no parity in how the two parties stigmatize opponents. Democrat vitriol is liberally applied not just to Trump, but to all his supporters.

Chatting with a California man who had biked across America, I remarked that it must have been interesting to talk with people across the country. His answer? "Are you crazy? I didn't talk to anyone. They're all rednecks."

Character assassination is the liberal weapon of choice against ordinary people. Democrats bully everyone to obey their rules on what we may think and say and do. They have the right because they are protecting blacks, gays, and women from our hidden hatred.

My college-age niece is typical of millennials when she tells me freedom of religion is of no importance, that people must be forced to think correctly about gays. Young people see the Bill of Rights as the handmaiden of bigotry and homophobia.

Similarly, in Los Angele w now have :road diets. Tht meanswe take wide streets and remove lanes to make them narrower. That means: Less effective.

By my house, we have a two lane commercial street that we happily managed to get widened to 4 lames. Until the road diet people got here. Now, they took out the extra lanes and we are back to two. it’s jammed.

So I turn off into the side streets with homes on it. The residents are furious that their space is violated ... but they voted for the road diet.

These people want to FORCE people onto public transport or bikes to go to work. FORCE! Mind you, I work on east coast hours. To drive to work and arrive by 5, I already get up at 4AM. I cannot, Imagine, at my age having to bike 20 miles to the beach at that hour, through crime ridden streets, to sit at my desk at5AM.

Why is it never mentioned that the Klan was/is a Democrat construct?

Democrats claim that there was a “great switch” of racists to the Republican party when the Democratic Solid South became the Red State bloc. In his documentary film, Hillary’s America, Dinesh D’Souza addressed that issue. It is true that the white South switched from Democrat to Republican, but D’Souza illustrated graphically that the number of Democrat politicians who switched from D to R was negligible. He said there were, I don’t know, some 2000 plus elected officers in the South, and he showed black-and-white thumbnail pictures of them - all Democrats before the so-called “great switch.”
In that single frame he then changed from b-w to color the photos of all the ones who switched from Democrat to Republican. It was Strom Thurman and eleven others - a total of twelve, out of thousands. Strom Thurmond switched from the party of the KKK. Robert Byrd - and nearly all of the rest of the Southern Democrat politicians, including Clinton mentor J. William Fulbright - didn't.
Like most blacks after the Civli War, Martin Luther King, Sr. was a Republican, Negros - as the polite term then was - switched to the Democrat Party reluctantly, but pretty much en blanc for economic reasons before white southerners became majority Republican. As late as 1960 Nixon expected to win the negro vote - and was surprised/disappointed that they went for Kennedy.
In reality, as you know, the KKK now has no national political party willing to affiliate with it. In reality, the National Rifle Association is the oldest Civil Rights organization still extant in the US. It was founded by Union officers to support the right of blacks to have weapons with which to resist the KKK.

Left-wingers (and I’ve known many) are the most intollerent people in this country as a general rule. With just a few occasional exceptions here and there, they encourage each other to think exactly the same on large matters of significance (although they are happy to debate over little irrelevant details, just so long as you are on the “correct” side).

In their closed-mindedness, stereotyping, and hypocrisy, they promote intollerence toward those with different opinions and worldviews and those from various unfavored groups (conservatives, Christians, heterosexuals, whites, minorities who don’t tow the ideologically leftist line, Southerners, people from the heartland, country folk, those in small towns, unorthodox thinkers who are not on the left, gun owners, non-criminals, etc.).

The left has a small number of peoples whom they believe tolerance toward is the greatest good achievable by mankind, but their “tolerance” does not apply to most Americans and their promotion of “diversity” is the most superficial possible. They actually want everyone to be mental automatons marching in lockstep on any issue that really matters.

Much like the NeverTrump crowd believes that 4 or 8 years from now the dynamics in this country will remain unchanged and that the vast majority will be hungry for a conservative, after a Hillary Presidency.

Indeed. If 8 years of economic and societal destruction of the Obama regime doesn't leave a majority hankering to vote for a conservative, 4 years of Hillary's economy and society destroying policies isn't going to do it.
