Five states and a group of religiously-affiliated hospitals and physicians are suing the Obama administration over a federal mandate that forces doctors to perform gender transition procedures on adults and children against their medical judgment.
The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in a Texas federal court, attempts to roll back a rule imposed by the Department of Health and Human Services in May that expanded the interpretation of “sex” under the Affordable Care Act to include “gender identity.”
In doing so, the Obama administration added transgender people to the list of protected classes under the Affordable Care Act, which states that individuals can’t be denied certain federally-funded health benefits because

Reading the article, this looks like one of those theoretical approach things. Not every John Q. Urologist is an addadictome doc anyhow and he isn’t being pressed into doing that.
The result, ironically, looks like neurotic quailing over things that haven’t become actual issues.
Why can’t they just say “I’m not qualified to perform this particular surgery”?
They would; this looks like taking an Obama bait.

I assume this is the more updated communist way of getting rid of doctors. A sexier version of sending them out of the cities, taking away their eyeglasses, and forcing them to farm.
Well maybe there is an issue though if it is something like a hysterectomy being done in preparation for a fake male transition. (The way it read looked like a hysterectomy being done on a fake woman which WOULD be ludicrous.)
Still thinking that it would be better to wait for the last gasp Rats to actually DEMAND that. That is the point of optimal political exposure. These lawsuits may raise more confusion than bring actual results.
I’ve half a mind that the best approach would be to dare them to try it and feed the kerfuffle to Donald Trump as red meat.

Compulsion to contract is illegal, it always has been, and for good reason: it’s slavery. Slaves do what they’re told. PPACA makes us all slaves of the government.
