Why Donald Trump Picked Kellyanne Conway to Manage his Campaign
Time Magazine ^ | 8/22 | Alex Altman and Zeke J Miller

Now Conway is advising another candidate with a penchant for provocative remarks. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump named Conway his campaign manager on Aug. 17, just weeks after she joined his effort as a senior adviser. The decision already appears to be paying off. In the week since elevating the veteran GOP strategist, Trump has tried to tame his tongue. He has swapped freewheeling speeches for TelePrompTers and policy addresses, expressed regret for unspecified offenses and signaled that he may be considering a softer position on illegal immigration. He even traveled to Louisiana for a conventional candidate photo-op, where he was briefed on flood rescue plans.

Party insiders and Trump aides alike give some of the credit to Conway. Her job, they say, is as much about managing the candidate as it is overseeing the nuts and bolts of his ground game. In the final stretch of the campaign, Trump has decided to rely on the veteran GOP strategist, 49, to devise a plan to reverse his sliding polls, sing his praises on TV and provide a stabilizing presence in a haphazard operation. And while Conway isn’t the first professional operative to be handed the role, she seems—at least so far—to be breaking through in ways her predecessors could not

1) Your post said nothing about KellyAnne specifically that I could concern,

2) I couldn’t tell from your one-liner you had a beef with her.

Further, NOW, anytime we see crap about Trump should ALWAYS be followed by return questions and concerns about the nature of Hillary, her campaign and her supporters.

If that offends you then I’ll shut up about it.

If Trump ever comes across or is perceived as inauthentic, it won’t matter that he’s never held office before, he’ll quickly be written off as just another pawn.... That’s truly his biggest risk, that he starts to just come across as another GOPe shill... I don’t think it will happen mind you, but that’s truly the worst thing Trump can do

It ticks me off that the media is hung up on this “Trump fired Manafort” thing when it’s very clear to anyone who was paying attention that Manafort was brought on to manage the convention. Period. End of story.

He doesn’t ‘hurl personal insults’. He draws attention, as he should, to negative attributes of his opponents such the Witch’s health and honesty problems, of the sleaze in the media, etc. He’s the only one with the stones to do so and that’s why there are tens upon tens of millions of people onboard his train.

And he’s made a heart felt talk about his regret at some statements and potential hurt he may or may have not caused.

Which statement or statements does he regret and which does he not?

Manafort lives in the same Trump Tower in Manhattan as the Trump family. He has known Donald for more than 30 years and is very close to the Trump family. He is in effect a part of the extended family.

Paul is a retired wealthy person who never needed the job with Donald but had experience with wrangling delegates for Reagan. Donald needed that experience for Cleveland, especially from a longtime trusted friend.

Now that Paul has completed his mission in spectacular fashion, he’s doing what he wants to which is to enjoy his well-deserved retirement.

The days of Maryand and Delaware being considered Southern states are over. Hard to believe that Washington DC was once considered a Southern city. But it was.

Maryland has always been a divided state. Western Maryland (west of the Chesapeake Bay and joining Pennsylvania) fought for the North. The Eastern Shore, (East of the Chesapeake Bay) fought in the Army of Northern Virginia under Lee. Maryland would have seceded from the union, however, Lincoln had a female spy who reported a planned meeting to secede. On the given date, Lee dispatched Federal Troops to arrest the representatives of the people so they could not leave the union. Washington, D.C. is built on Maryland soil. Had Maryland seceded, Washington would have been easily overrun.

"Northerners ruined Virginia? Last I checked Maryland was below the Mason-Dixon Line. That’s what’s ruining Virginia. Marylanders fleeing their own political mess + the invasion of the Fed Employee bodysnatchers in NoVa."

I moved from McLean to 50 miles south in Virginia and the natives regard me as a Northern invader. :-)

Trump did what was right with Manafort who has a bride scandal hanging around his neck. He had to throw him overboard before he became the story not Trump. Leaders act quickly and with conviction. Now in Hillary's case Manafort might have slipped in the bathtub and problem solved.

Oh by the way, what reward did the DMC put out for information leading to the capture and conviction of Seth Rich's killer(s)?

I understand this is an online poll, virtually useless other than for propaganda purposes of DNC media, aka the mainstream media.
