If Trump insulted these people about anything unrelated to the death of their son, then the fact that they are Gold Star parents is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT, and it is very likely that they deserved the smack down they got.

I’ve posted this before,but the libs went NUTS over Trump’s alleged insult but not one word about their idol,FDR,who interned the families of other young men who died for their country.
They were interned for four years while many of their sons were fighting and dying for the country.

I’ve watched most of Trumps speeches this year, and a constant, unwavering theme has been his support for veterans, the armed forces, and the VA.
Having said that, it stretches credulity that he would “attack” a Gold Star family; moreover, this particular “gold star” family used the death of their son for purely political purposes, at the behest of the dems.
Untold thousands of men and women have died serving their country, but very few of their families try to capitalize on the deaths of their sons or daughters.
Then, to blame a presidential candidate for their loss in such a selfish and spiteful manner is shameful. Trump was a real estate developer when these wars were raging, with NOTHING to do with declaring them, or initiating them. Obama was the commander in chief when their son was killed, blame him (and Bush) for being over there in the first place. Mr. Kahn knew the score when his son entered the armed forces. There are plenty of GIs who got it from Booby traps and bombs.
All of us who were in the armed forces knew when took the oath that they could be sent into harms way, that’s why we have armies.
Kahn was being a mouthpiece for Hillary at the convention, that’s all.
A gold star family that goes on national television and insults the other parties candidate have made them selves legitimate targets. Their son is the hero....not them...they are nothing more than political hacks!!!
