Probably the 500K is to help the down ticket candidates in the general election rather than defeat Trump...

Occam’s razor, I think applies here...

Yeah, he got his assed kicked by the people in the primary / S

The people in his district obviously love the guy, that's all that matters...

Gnashing of teeth, temper tantrums, rants all amounts to zero...

I seriously don't understand why people here don't understand that...unless you live in his district he doesn't give a flying donut about what you think about him...

Ryan plans on running for POTUS. He certainly “cares” what GOP primary voters think about him.

It;s two Families that are done with the GOP headed up by Jeb Bush GW Bush and Mitt Romney

Then like Mafia Families each has hos own family but when Trump is President he will destroy them like Reagan should have done

Well, that’s five years away and two more congressional cycles....a lot can happen...if Trump has a successful first term, he already said in would have 95 % of blacks voting for him in 2020...

Looks like Ryan may be the odd man out for POTUS...and still won’t give a rats ass what you think...if that’s the case...

HarleyLady27 :" And I am sure that every Wisconsin resident are so very pleased with themselves...... you asked for it and you just might get it!!!"

Ryan is politically alive today due to an "open Primary" in WI.
I am sure that he cooperation for Barkey didn't go unnoticed
and Dem's crossed over to vote for Ryan to preserve "their enabler" !

One would hope this would be the truth. However, in this instance it would be wiser to check and verify before reaching that decision. It seems there is a tight knit bunch in this area.

Let's pretend for a moment you are correct that Ryan moved $500,000 to the state GOP to help defeat Trump in the general...

Ok...what's next ?

How do you prove it...what do you do about it...?

My guess is the poster who said it's money to help keep the Senate seat Russ Feingold wants back from Ron Johnson is probably spot on...

I'm pretty sure Ryan is a lot more concerned about losing a Senate seat then wasting money on a fool's errand trying to help Trump lose the state..

The people of Wisconsin don’t love Ryan. In the primary he had all the marbles. Money, Name Recognition. Ryan campaigned like he had no opponent. Never mentioned Nehlen, refused to debate. Nehlen was operating on a shoe string budget. And was working against the same Wisconsin #nevertrump media. Yes, they are still out there in Wisconsin.

My guess is Ryan donated the money for all races. He certainly doesn’t need it for the general.

Ron Johnson was elected riding the coattails of the tea party. Flipped the minute he got to Washington. It seems like now being an election year, he has finally grown a pair. I was going to sit out senate race until Feingold announced. I will reluctantly vote straight party ticket. I want to give President Trump as much help in the house and senate as possible.

Arrrr - These Wisconsin politicians we are stuck with. On the bright side...We do have Sean Duffy!!!

The people of Wisconsin don’t love Ryan.

Do you live in his district ?

If not, you have no idea whether or not the people in his district love him or hate him...

Those are the only people who have a say in the matter...

Personally, I think he is a weasel, but what I think is about as relevant as what the people in his district think about my rep...

My congressman knows what I think of Ryan...and I will make his life miserable if he votes for him as speaker.

I know many people in his district and own property in that district. None I know voted for him. Hell, him and Romney couldn’t even carry Wisconsin in 2012.

None I know voted for him.

Even with dem crossover voters in the primary, somebody who calls themselves a republican voted for him, won 84 to 16 against Nehlen

Hell, him and Romney couldn’t even carry Wisconsin in 2012.

That's not really surprising at all considering the political makeup of the entire state...

Unionist, progressives, moonbats, liberals, anarchist, etc...

The GOP hasn't won WI since 1988

Yea unfortunately Wisconsin is full of looney tunes. Like I said in my previous post. Ryan had the name recognition and all the money. Nehlen operated on a shoe string. I expected Nehlen to lose.....but definitely not by that margin.
