The protesters, he tweeted later, were part of a culturally dysfunctional underclass and were responding to inane provocation.
His taunts stood in sharp contrast to the message being sent out by the Milwaukee police chief. Speaking on local television, Edward Flynn laid out the facts of the shooting that had ignited the unrest, then said he was heading to a meeting with local black pastors to plead for their help.

My sheriff. Great guy, sound mind. Only guy around here who gets it and says it.
a controversial black sheriff
No bias there/s
But he failed to acknowledge outside agitators coming into the area to provoke civil unrest
Milwaukee has seriously fascist parking enforcement.
So a black sheriff becomes “controversial” when he talks about young punks, fatherless households and courts that fail to even *lightly* punish certain crimes in certain areas.
Jaweed Kaleem
Zactly, hizzoner and the CoP have had plenty of opportunity to turn the City arround. It’s their polocies that are controversial to achieving success.
Had Sheriff Clark been the first Black President of the United States, this country would be a far different place than the dung heap it’s turned out to be under the first Kenyan President.
Jaweed “Skyhook” Kaleem could learn a lot from the Great Sherriff Clark.
I see the beard is trimmed back to “moderate” length.
Sheriff Clarke a controversial Sheriff? LOL!
Sheriff Clarke tells it like it is and only ticks off criminals, liberals, commies and Muzlims, JAWEED!
Ditto. Sheriff Clark takes seriously his job of defending the Constitution. We’re with you Sheriff. We need more courageous men like him.
I should just post a polite thanks to the Sheriff Clarke ...but I will offer up what I really think of the liberal f kn rag known as the LA times F ......___ fill in the blank.
Need anyone say more about the policing disaster taking place in Milwaukee..???
Interesting comments on the LA Times article. Just because Sheriff Clarke does not follow the leftist script, he allegedly comes from a “privileged background”. Now is that a somewhat indirect way of calling him an “Uncle Tom”?
the white cop is an incompetent ideologue that likes the city to burn.
better to burn than cross a mob of nwords
Also Clarke’s comment about Flynn: “He’s not from here”. How true. I find that most police chiefs who are from “out of town” turn out to be traveling politicians, interchangeable generic yuppie manager types steeped in jargon and know nothing about the community. An example would be Lee P. Brown, the Houston Police Chief. Was he ever working/living in Houston (or anywhere near Houston) before he became chief of HPD? NO!
The same goes for Bill McManus, chief of the San Antonio Police Department, former chief of Minneapolis, former chief of Washington DC. And he spreads his chaos with his loopy ideas at each place, and has no prior connection to the communities where he’s chief.
These are the chiefs that travel from city to city, sucking up to the politicians, spouting some high minded nebulous buzzword bingo, and getting nothing done. Flynn fits the description to a T.
“My sheriff. Great guy, sound mind. Only guy around here who gets it and says it.”
If Police Chief Harold Breier were in charge of the Milwaukee police department today, not a single leftist protestor would be standing. He totally kicked butt in 1967.
