My thinking:

Corey was fired a while after that Michelle Fields mess; even if Corey was found to be innocent, it put a ‘tarnish’ on the campaign...

The leak came out from the Clinton Machine about Manafort connection to the Ukraine deal, Russia and Putin...it puts a ‘tarnish’ on the campaign...

Even if we all knew about the Ukraine Deal that Manafort was involved in, it still is ‘tarnishing’ something that Trump will NOT allow...

This is my thinking of why things happened...and no I did not agree with Trump endorsing RINO RYAN, or Juan McPain, or that woman...bad move!!!

I did however agree with his comment last night about ‘regretting some of the name calling’...most of it was called for, some of it wasn't...at least he is an HONEST person running for the POTUS, something we haven't seen in how long????

>> it will be a shame if he turns publicly against President-to-be Trump <<

I’d say he’s not likely to do so publicly, especially because his contract with Trump almost surely had a very strict non-disclosure clause.

But will he be the source of nasty behind-the-scenes leaks from an “anonymous” former staffer? Probably so.

If this is the guy who persuaded Trump to play footsies with that bastard Ryan, I am very happy to see him thrown under the bus.

Yes, this is the dangerous downside whenever Trump shows someone the exit door. The butchers in the media are always waiting, like the vultures they are, for the Donald to toss them a newly slaughtered carcass.

“Hillary sitting in her diapers.” Now that is a funny scene to visualize. Any cartoonists around here?

I suspect that the GOPE figured out they could not defeat Trump in the primaries and Manafort was brought forth to Trump as a way to sew up the nomination and to make nice with the GOPE. Hey Donald this guy will help you sew up the convention and the GOPE likes him and can bring a peace and reconciliation between you.

The ultimate plan of the GOPE was for Manafort to sabotage the Trump campaign after the convention assuring they remain in power even with a Hillary presidency. And witness once Trump left the convention through in some cases his own self-inflicted wounds or GOP inflicted wounds the hits kept coming and Manafort

Trump figured out there was a Trojan Horse in his camp and acted accordingly.

Flynn is a democrat and self-described centrist. Why in the world would you want someone like that a heartbeat from the Presidency.
