Native Anerican—there are over 300 million of us.People born in the USA are Native Americans.This is an American Indian. Am tired of the PC term.
I agree, "Native American" doesn't work, for the reasons you stated. But "American Indian" really doesn't cut it either, because they are not from India nor are they descended from people from India. We need a new term for them. Probably "Indigenous" hits closest to the mark.
