You want to talk about bigotry when every politician that disagrees with your narrow ideology is systematically branded a racist with zero evidence?
You want tot talk about bigotry when your side is so condescending they expect minorities are well represented by the thug racists in movements like BLM?
You want to talk about civility when your side has an army of potty mouthed bigoted comedians that have substituted a genuine comedy for the ongoing flippancy of who can be the most smug arrogant and demeaning in how they put down conservatives?
You want to talk about how your getting your asses kicked when you leftwing jouranlists have lost control of the narrative and truth starts to win out?
No! All you want to do is fling accusations without merit and project your own bigotries onto the rest of us. Too many online see gratuitously ‘dishing some heavy dirt on others’ as a great way to pass time.
I found this article rather frightening, in that it’s not really about Internet trolling, but instead it’s about basically tying anyone who opposes the left to neo-Nazi’s, child molesters, etc.
Time Magazine is terrified because it (and more broadly the Left) doesn’t have a monopoly on the news any longer.

Totally unsubstantiated claim. Not backed up by any data at all. True trolling depends on the sites you are on. Visit the Washington Post, Politico, MSN, NBCNews, or Time magazine, and all the forums and comments pages there are run by the Left, and anyone having a conservative opinion, no matter how polite or well-founded, is labeled a troll.
There are hundreds of places I see Left wing fanatics, who generally use the F-Bomb and other disgusting language MUCH more so than conservatives, as well as their quick use of hatred, vitriol, nonsense and group-think constantly and continuously. Try Reddit.com's /politics, for example.
The guy shouldn't write a story like this WITHOUT a really big mirror to look back at himself and his political cohorts before making such false and misleading claims.

I got a facebook account mainly to see what my millennial daughters were posting and see pictures of the grandchildren.
I posted very little, maybe a couple of times per month. Since I accepted friend requests from almost anyone I knew, it wasn't long before I had close to 300 friends.
Before long, I would sign in to see pictures of the grand kids and instead start getting left-wing screeds from people I thought knew better and were raised better.
So I started posting a few articles of my own from top sites like this, American Thinker and Townhall.
It wasn't long before the snowflakes started unfriending me. They could post their cultural Marxist pablum to their heart's content, but went ballistic when I just let another view be disclosed.
The problem is that anyone who disagrees with anyone else, even with well reasoned and stated positions, is being labeled a troll. If I go on DU and speak truthfully about Hillary, Bernie and company, they will say I am trolling.
