The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is demanding an Air Force major be aggressively punished for having an open Bible on his desk at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colo. Perhaps I can recommend a bible verse to these folks:
Galatians 5:12
As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!

Mikey needs to be hunted down and at least have a cross burned in his front yard. No; merely ignored.

Yep. 1973 was the year the USA officially became "Property of Satan".
We, the people, signed on the dotted line with the same blood Satan used to write his binding contract with US, thus sealing our fate.
We have to break that contract, but instead we just keep filling Satan's inkwell and the Father's Cup.
Any guesses which will overflow first?

As a retired Chaplain, I can think of no restriction on that Major reading his bible while at his desk. To the extent that others are allowed personal items of any kind on their desks, he is allowed to have items on his desk. Lunch, breaks, etc. are times when folks are on their own and able to engage in their own pursuits.
Should the major be doing his job when not on break? Sure. He should be, and unless he’s a chaplain, it probably doesn’t include sharing stories from the bible. But that doesn’t mean a discussion wouldn’t crop up that would make it perfectly legitimate for him to engage in his perspective which might be a biblical perspective.

These asshats go out of their way to be offended. Isn’t predatory and aggressive anti-religion rhetoric a form of proselytizing? i.e. the religion of anti-religion.

You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they’ve tried everything else.
