Only if you’re from the South and your ancestors fought in that ‘soon to be re-written war’, the Civil War.

They don’t condemn White Privilege enough ( etc etc )
They miss the chance to tell the 99% white crowd how racist
they are

I think there are probably individual players and others associated with the game that worked that to a spiritual advantage. Reggie White comes to mind.

SMART parents say: NO FOOTBALL, EVER.
are you seriously making the argument that of the thousands of young boys and men who have played football through the years all are suffering from debilitating injuries as they grow older...? If so, you are quite incorrect, and thus are making a markedly stupid argument...
To: rktman
Why on earth do people obsessed over social and political issues demand this same sort of behavior from other people? People who obsess over football or cars or food don't (well, mostly). It's one thing to like arugula and another to demand that everyone around you preach a testimonial to the stuff.
I have a great idea. We could let football players talk about whatever they want to like everyone else. Or not. Like everyone else.
To: rktman
Really? These morons want a lower class of morons and imbeciles, many with criminal records, to be talking about social issues? They certainly have the right to do so, but who the F cares what these guys have to say. Ditto for the panel. We watch them (maybe) for the SPORTS commentary, not politics or social issues.
What makes a huge guy with a criminal record and the intellectual capability of a 6th grader qualified to speak intelligently about ANYTHING except what they do for a living?

As much as I love the Police and what they are doing for us, I do not believe that a Sports team or a sports show is the place for politics...
I know some of you believe this isn’t politics but when you take away everything, it is...
If you start with a ‘The Blue Star’ on a sports team, what’s next? A Hillary Stool emblem on the Washington Red Skins helmet? See my point...we can do more for the Men in Blue and others like the Fire Departments other than on a Sports team or channel...
GO. DENVER BRONCOS; PITTSBURG STEELERS; GREEN BAY PACKERS!!!

You DO realize that you have just annoyed both Broncos and Steelers fans by including them together. You should add the Chicago Bears and watch the fur really fly.
However, we can agree on one thing...
DIE, COWBOYS!!

Vince Lombardi was my all time favorite coach...while I was in Green Bay and went through their ‘Hall of Fame’ I remember seeing Vince on the side lines...oh yell yes, this is the way the game is played!!!

But, in all seriousness, I do see your point! Politics is sports to a good many people. What really gets my goat are those who filter what others wish to proclaim. Rights for me but not for thee.

Well, when you run into Cowboys’ fans , just remind them that they are a mere expansion team, mainly created to chase Lamar Hunt and the AFL out of the Dallas market. The Bears, Packers and Steelers have a grittier history than that, and the Bears and Packers have a wall of championship trophies that predate the existence of the EXPANSION Cowboys.

I guess espn thinks the Brown's Crowell was spot on with his social media post of the pic with the cop getting his throat slit. And I so enjoyed that jackwagon Bobby Costes lecturing me on gun control during a MNF halftime. Espn, Go F@ck Yourself.
