Survival Expert James Rawles Warns: “There’s Going To Be A Massive Run On Firearms… Bigger Than (TR)
SHTF Plan ^ | August 16, 2016 | Mac Slavo

James Wesley Rawles is a former intelligence officer of the United States Army, prolific author and one of the top survival experts in the world. In his best-selling book series Patriots he paints a terrifying picture of a post-collapse America where food is scarce, currency is worthless, law and order have broken down, and survival is a daily struggle. It’s a fictional tale, of course, but one that is grounded in real-world possibilities.

In his latest interview with SGT Report, the SurvivalBlog.com founder breaks down the probability of such a scenario and explains that should it come to pass, where hyperinflation destroys our currency or a world war ravages America, the most important thing to have in your possession will be essential tangible assets.

Further, Rawles notes that as we get closer to the possibility of a Hillary Clinton Presidency, we may soon see panic buying of firearms, ammunition and gun-related accessories.

Venezuela is a microcosm of a centrally planned government and currency run amok… and we need to learn from their example.

If you notice the things that people are clamoring for are tangibles… they’re looking for food and they’re looking for currencies that are inflation proof and that usually means precious metals.

So if we’re going to learn anything from Venezuela it’s tangibles, tangibles, tangibles.

…Wake up… watch what’s happening in Venezuela… you need to get your beans, bullets and band aids squared away… Those tangible items are going to be what pulls your family through the hard times ahead. And regardless of what happens to currencies, if you have a honest one year supply of food, preferably two years, and a good core position in physical precious metals that you hold at home… hidden… not in

grumpygresh :" ..I think that an American CW2 is just what the globalists want.
After the electrical grid hack and/or EMP, they can send in UN troops, Chinese troops to restore order."

I believe that is EXACTLY what the TPPA (Trans Pacific Partnership Act) calls for : international cooperation and international policing of member nations.
either with , ..or without their approval.

Succinctly, it overrules and overides National sovereignty !
Of course , even Snowden states that the public has information about only 14% of the TPPA,
We don't even know what is in the remaining 86% of it !!
and the current administration isn't talking about it.

Tp is the one item I don't want to be out of, so I found a simple alternative - a spray bottle.

They make some excellent bidet toilet lid add ons now. Been using one for about a year. Bidet lids on Amazon. Electric and non electric.

Do you mean “assemble” not build? Head spacing on an AR can be a pita.

Everyone on FR is thinking about young black males from the city and have forgotten about the local Hispanics. A lot of people think their maid and yard man or the farmhands love them and boy are they going to get a surprise. Even if your maid is fond of you I’m sure her son isn’t and he’s heard his mom talk for years about where you keep your weapons and where the cash is hidden.

We will be in a war long before we get too deep into an HRC administration. If it looks like Trump is going to win, “they” will take out the stock market.

Either way, the next few years are going to be rough. But THAT rough? I am hopefully skeptical.

But if you should have already noticed, the enemedia haven't covered any of his presentation on the econmy or crime.
His presentation is effective only if it gets coverage by the media, and that hasn't happened yet.
The media wants to cover the agenda Moolseim in a hajib,..and totally ignore the 2nd amendment, 6 times gold medalist, trap shooter.

Eat enough MREs, and you’ll never need TP.

Metamucil as the counter-agent ?
Or just eat more fiber (tree bark, grass, etc..)!

LOL! Agreed!

Beau wonders about my obsession with always having lots of TP on hand, no matter what.

But, he was never in the Army and never led a Platoon through Field Training for weeks on end. ‘Nuf said. :)

"...If you can change a tire, you can build an AR-15.

I've read that the AR platform is designed to be serviceable by a person with a 9th grade education.

I built mine from parts with no special tools in my bedroom, when I rented a room and had no access to a workshop.

It was easy.

It was fun.

It was life changing.

That is ridiculous. There are simple tests for gems:

Market value varies on everything--that's why it's called market value. Paying retail and expecting to sell at that is rarely a good idea. That said, diamonds are a poor candidate since their value is completely and artificially set by the DeBeers cartel.

Anything you hold for contingency commerce is not an investment, but a store of value. That is, something to liquidate to good purpose--it's value dependent on time, opportunity, and need.

You may not want to sell grampa's gold watch today for a measly $500, but you would think nothing of trading it for a couple of bottles of antibiotics when your child really needed them.

The originator and still the best; http://doultonusa.com/HTML%20pages/history.htm
If you’ve heard of big berkey filters, the design was copied from “Berkefeld” which was invented by the people at the link above.

We used a pair of cheap ceramic filters from cheaperthandirt for a year and drank water from a spring fed stream without issues. They no longer carry them. We used the two bucket, gravity feed system. It’s all a matter of micron rating. Also, there are a few ceramic filters that are approved by the NSF.

Mainly stocking up on ammo/mags at this point. I do have one firearm in layaway but the previous two items are my focus currently.

I have noticed in my area that firearms across the board have ticked up in price. For example the lowly but reliable PA-63 in 9X18, I could buy all day long for $125-$175 two years ago is now listing for $249. The only handguns I am seeing reasonable are the lower end 1911’s the RIA/Citadel’s. BTW I own several RIA and for the money are excellent pieces.

The others are police trade in Glocks of various calibers. If you wait a few months the local stores really start discounting them heavily. I picked up a lightly used Glock 21 last year with night sights and two hi-cap mags for $375 OTD.

Keep a close eye from Labor Day going forward, when the paid political ads come out in full force, which includes insues in regards to law and order. There will be bigtime saturation.
