Bloodied — a lot — but unbowed, Ryan foe forms pro-Trump PAC
Washington Examiner ^

Businessman Paul Nehlen may have been swamped by House Speaker Paul Ryan in a Republican primary last week, but he's not done with politics just yet.

The 47-year-old will now serve as chairman of a new political action committee supporting GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Nehlen is set to hold a news conference Monday in Wisconsin to discuss his plans with Citizens Revolt PAC, according to the Washington Post. He is set to use his new role to speak at events nationwide and in the media to attack Trump's GOP critics.

Though Nehlen overwhelmingly lost the Aug 9. primary — Ryan won 84 percent of the vote — he found an ally in the populist and nationalist wing of the Republican Party. Nehlen and his allies are set to take the support he received from right-wing figures such as Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin to continue to rally against the GOP's leadership.

Just a way to collect money in Trump’s name and put it in his own pocket.

Glad to see he’s channeling his energies into something positive, unlike a certain Cubanadian.......

I was disappointed when he lost, but Ryan, RINO; neo Con; butt kisser, was the speaker of the house...hope they change that...

That's great that he is going out, more reconnection for him in two years...

If the Washington Compost had written this it would have read

...he found an ally in the populist and national socialist wing of the Republican Party."

Nehlen was all talk, he got skunked 84-15. It would be different if he had lost 60-40. I would not have complained if Ryan had lost, however Nehlen was beyond overwhelmingly defeated. The Washington Generals are looking at this guy as a loser.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I wouldn’t touch anything he is involved in with a 10 foot pole.

Full disclosure: Paul Ryan and I went to the same college at the same time. I don’t remember him, but our Venn diagrams overlapped.

I think he is honest and will pass it on to Trump.

Why are you judging otherwise?

If I lived in Ryan’s district I would vote for the Democrat (as painful as that might be.) We must get rid of this SOB.

I think Nehlen is a good man and I’m glad to see him still plugging away. Voting for that POS ryan is Wisconsin’s loss (and America’s by extension).

I am 77 years of age and slowed down considerably. I realize some may think I am getting senile but really I think both party’s are afraid of Trump and what he may bring to the table.
I voted for Bush twice and thought I was right and never thought those in the Pentagon would fix figures according to what the Commander In Chief desired to the extent of going to war and I know that is their job. Folks I really believe Trump is a danger to those running our government and they will never allow him to occupy the Oval Office.
I am an Independant and in my local elections I have to vote Democrat because no one else runs. I think both party’s are corrupt but I have no doubt the Democrats are Evil and those in the Republican Party that are trying to destroy Trump are just as evil.
Up front I did not vote for Trump in our state election but the powers to be and the Ruling Rich Elite are afraid he will expose them for what they are and have been.

You can take him out in November. Dems will have the seat for 2 years only. Ain’t gonna happen.

As regards the fortunes of the Republican party -

The Donald is their main cash cow for now, cut him off and they end up strangling themselves.

Face it, there is only one “anti-Hillary” out there now, and it AIN’T Gary Johnson or Jill Stein.

Or even Evan McMullin.

Paul Rino is “honest?”

The guy who campaigned in 2014 on cutting spending, repealing Obamacare and stopping illegal immigration?

They guy who, when he got back to Washington, voted for a 1.1 trillion dollar spending bill, voted to fund Obamacare, and tried to help ram through comprehensive immigration amnesty?

Let me get this straight: you’re calling that behavior “honest?”

Seriously?

We’re talking about Paul Rino here, right?

They guy who, when he got back to Washington, voted for a 1.1 trillion dollar spending bill, voted to fund Obamacare, and tried to help ram through comprehensive immigration amnesty?

So you have no problem taking Paul Rino at his word?

Seriously?
