Because it's human nature to take the easier path, as a general rule. It's far easier to blame others for your problems than to assess your own faults and correct them.

I think you’d be surprised at the shift in psychology if the gloves truly came off, as you suggest in your scenario. “Millions of whites” aren’t just going to stand there and be killed. Neither will millions of civilized people of other races. It would be open season on the ferals, if your scenario came to pass.
Imagine if some of those people in cars were armed and felt their lives were at risk? Shoot a half dozen rioters in the dog tags and it would be a real wet blanket to the riot.
That's the main reason I have a Ruger 380 in my pocket and a S&W .38 on the car seat next to me. Sometimes I even take my Ruger 9mm with a 30 shot magazine.

I seem to remember carjackings in South Africa. Someone built and sold flamethrowers that could be attached to the undercarriage. If someone tried to get into your car, you could give them a warm welcome. Maybe they should make a return in this country.

I think there was a NAV App that avoided the 'hoods. Someone made them take it down/revise it as it was deemed racis'.

It is a serious topic.
But even careful people get caught unawares. I rented a room on Georgia Ave down in DC many years ago, and it wasn’t evident to me until after it got dark that it was not a good place to be. I should have realized instantly when the liquor store closed precisely at the mandated time, bars came down, and the streets became deserted for the most part. I actually heard gunfire.
Needless to say I didn’t leave my room.
